Its gonna be ok Cowboy...

Lucas' POV

I was just on the phone with my dad. He just told me some very expecting and upsetting news.

I was so upset with my self that i didnt get to talk to her before she passed away.

I was deep in thought when i heard a knock on the door , i didnt even realise that Farkle left the room.

I got up from my place on my bed and walked over to the door. I opened it to reveal my beautiful smiling girlfriend Maya.

I couldn't even smile at her even though she lights up my whole world.

"Hi Maya" i said with complete disappointment in my tone.

"Cowboy , whats wrong ??" Maya questioned concerned.

I couldn't speak i was too sad.

Maya immediately put her arms around me and held me tight. I hugged her back. Maya made me for feel a bit better.

"Cowboy can you tell me whats wrong?"

I huffed and after a few minutes i began to speak.

"Well i just got off the phone with my dad before you came in and he told me that m-my grandmother had passed away."

I said sobbing , i didnt mind if i cried in front of Maya. I felt comfortable around my girlfriend.

"Oh Lucas , im sorry but you know what shes in a better place now , amd im sure she doesnt want to see you upset" Maya spoke her gentle words.

"And Cowboy i wouldnt wabt u to be upset either" she spoke.

"I know Maya , i know im just so angry at my self for mot being there for her when she needed me" i told her.

"Its gonna be ok Cowboy" Maya said as we hugged for whay seemed like hours..

Sorry for the short chapter guys theres gonna be a slight twist in the story soon cuz i feel like this book is dragging on..
