You were never the type of person to obsess over what others thought of you. You usually exuded confidence with your wicked grin and gleaming eyes. You may have been an introverted social pariah, you weren't afraid of people, but something about Wooyoung and his clique unnerved you. Especially Jung Wooyoung.

Maybe it was the way his freakishly dark-colored eyes looked at you or the way Jung Wooyoung went between blatantly ignoring you to glaring a hole at the side of your head when you looked elsewhere to intruding your personal life and then ignoring you yet again. You didn't know if he hated you and for some unfathomable reason, it irked you immensely. Like you wanted his approval. Deep down, you knew you didn't really care but something about Jung Wooyoung pulled you in while something about you pushed him away.

It was...unusual.

You recalled the incident once again as you walked. That hauntingly beautiful look on his face, like a dark angel, struck you deeply. It was all you could see when you closed your eyes. That tumultuous expression of raw conflict. Misplaced anger. It was the way he looked at you, like you were ruining his life or killed his cat. What sort of fucked up game was he playing? You certainly hadn't moved here to become someone's new toy. First, he ignores you and talks shit about you behind your back and then he has the audacity to give you life advice?! He didn't even know you, how could he even think you'll tolerate him trying to control you?

Jung Wooyoung could go fuck himself.

You were so busy bundled up in your own thoughts that you didn't even realize when you reached home. It was when you noticed your gran kneeling near the foot of the fence, that you snapped out of it. "What's wrong, Gran? Are you okay?!"

She flinched, startled and turned to glare at whoever interrupted her, only to breathe a sigh of relief once she realized it was only you. "Oh, ______-ie," Hearing her call you that, all sorts of negative feelings washed away from your being at that moment, you hadn't felt so at home in a long while. "I was just planting these across the boundary," she gestured towards the violet flowers in her hands. At the sight of them, an uneasy feeling developed in your chest immediately. It was almost as if repulsion took over your body and you staggered a few steps backward.

"You don't need any help, I suppose." You said slowly, trying not to look at the plant. Your gran shook her head, way too focused on her task to notice your wavering tone, "No, no, you go freshen up, I need to get this done."

You nodded hastily despite knowing she couldn't see you but didn't hang around long enough to know her response.

You finished your homework in no time even though it felt like forever. Your mind had been filled and run through to exhaustion. You were torn on what to do now. You glanced at the door and sighed—you had to go out, you couldn't stay cooped up in your room like this all the time.
