chapter 9: fare

The sun shone on my hair waking me, I found myself in a unfamiliar room with a familiar face

I giggled seeing vuana's morning face, her hair was so messy and she drooled a bit

I poked her cheek attempting to wake her, but she's a heavy sleeper I giggled at this and shook her lightly awake , no luck

But when her dog woke her she did it was very strange and irritating to see the dog doing a better job than me but who cares

"morning " I stated

"m.. orning" she mumbled

After breakfast vuana decided that we should go to the fair tonight, it's been a while since I've been there so I got exited

~time skip to night~

It's now about 8:00 in the evening and we just arrived the fair, there were lots of games and prizes, it's a shame I didn't bring any money

I felt a hand on my shoulder I glanced at who was that

"don't worry I've got all our expenses covered " vuana said reassuringly ,I smiled and thanked her

After walking around I saw a fox plushy I wanted it so bad, I've been staring at it for about a minute and sabito noticed and giggled at my antics

"hey vuana-san, can we play this? " sabito asked not taking his mask off, vuana nodded and smiled as she paid for the game, the game was knocking the bottles

When sabito gripped the ball I Swear I saw his muscles' outline , frick that's hot

When he threw the ball it easily knocked the bottles over, it also created a dent on some of the bottles,he did that twice and easily won the game for me, he chose the fox plushy I really wanted, when he gave it he smiled the most sweetest one I've seen because of this my cheeks heated up and my heart beat became faster

I politely received the plushie and thanked him
"t-thank you s-so much "I managed to speak

He chuckled and put his mask back on

Vuana kept nudging me and giving me 'the look ' saying 'you like him don't cha? '
Which resulted to me getting flustered every time
He spoke to me , and vuana kept teasing me about it

It was late at night about 12 midnight and we all decided to go back to vuana's home so we could rest and get on traveling tommorow

"isn't the moon lovely? " sabito said glancing at me, I looked at the moon and back at him the light from the moon reflected his eyes perfectly ,I could clearly see my soul in them, his eyes were a light shade of plum

"yeah it is "I replied looking away as he put his mask back on, I looked at vuana's direction only to find her squealing ,I rolled my eyes and continued walking
