She smiles a bit to herself noticing his childlike actions. "Alright so it was one of those days you were out wrecking your blood curdling havoc somewhere in the pentagram. I decided that going out wouldn't be a bad idea, so I ended going down to the center of the pentagram. To the big shopping center there. I ended up getting a few new outfits, and soon found myself in front of a little antique shop that was hidden down an unlit hall. So I went in and saw that radio sitting on a shelf collecting dust. I quickly went over to it, since it looked like the one you said you used to have before you ended up in hell. So I picked it up and went to the cashier. She was a creepy old sinner. She had a long cracked beak and was covered in slick black feathers, although there were a few featherless patches on her showing wrinkly red skin. She stared at me with yellow eyes and honestly she made me want to turn and leave." She laughs a bit and leans back in the armchair. "But I didn't since I knew you'd like that radio. So I asked her how much for it and then she said I had to make a trade for it. And I offered her the stuff I got and she said no. She told me it had to be something with...an emotional tie to me..." She frowns a bit in her seat.
He looks at her confused then frowns softly. "Your father's class ring..." He says softly with a sad look.
"Yeah...I gave her it for the radio..." She sighs and smiles a bit. "I hated doing that...but the smile you had on your face was just enough to let me not regret that." She says looking over at Alastor.
His eyes were sad and seemed to be a dull red color compared to his usual bright red. "Dear...I'm sorry you had to go through that ordeal just for my own benefit..." He says looking at her worried. He moves to get up but he pauses sitting on the edge of his bed. His head was feeling a bit fuzzy due to alcohol he'd been drinking with his ex-lover. He looked at her a bit confused with himself. He didn't know how to feel with her. He wanted to go and hug her and to vow to look for the ring, but at the same time he was upset with her greatly due to her actions earlier in the day. Hell, he could even feel himself getting the warm fuzzy feeling he used to get with her.....when he loved her. He puts his head in his hands taking deep breaths.
Vivan frowns getting up. She goes over to him and stands in front of him. "Hey...Al..are you alright?" She asks confused looking at him worried, but upset that she was letting his emotions get to her own.
He leans forward resting his forehead on her stomach. He looks down at her feet and the floor sighing. "My dear I do not know exactly if I am alright. I believe your drinking preference has started to blur my thoughts." He chuckles softly leaving his hands limp at his sides. She stiffens up slightly from the contact. She looks down at him a pissed that he was invading her personal space especially after the shit he pulled. She raises her arm up to whack him but pauses, hearing him speak. "Dear...I would not dare to say this if I was not drunk, but....I went to all of your shows...."
She slowly lets her arm fall to her side. She gulps, "you what?"
"I went to all of your shows....I was in the shadows most of the time but I was there.... And you were just as amazing as you were when we were together," he chuckles. He leans his head up looking at her now with a crooked smile.
She looks at him confused, "why though? I thought that you didn't believe I'd be any good at showbiz..?"
"Well...I did think you would do well... I was just worried that if you got into it I would loose your affection to some other demon," he says chuckling. He leans back on his bed now and yawns.
She looks at him and gulps slightly, "I don't blame you for worrying back that.... I would have worried about that too if I was you then... And I always looked for you in the crowds at my show.."
He lifts his head a bit looking at her surprised, "you did? Even after what I said to you..?"
"Yes, since I thought maybe you'd come back to me." She says looking down and hating herself for admitting these thoughts, hopes, and feelings she had to him of all demons, the one who made her think and feel these things.
"I thought you would laugh if I did," he frowns a bit looking tired.
"I wouldn't have you idiot! Since I was an idiot too!" She groans looking down at him.
"Well maybe...eventually we will be a couple again my dear..." He sighs and yawns laying back in bed.
"Why eventually? We got everything out in the open now," She snaps at him.
"Well this is just a moment between us....that I doubt that I will be able to recollect in the morning..." He smiles a bit looking at the ceiling.
"Al you only drank like a shot or-" She starts saying as she moves forward between his legs and picks up the now empty bottle. "Al! You drank the other half of the fucking bottle!" She says surprised and looks at him laughing a bit. "You won't fucking remember any of this shit since you never drink in the first place!" She sighs as he props himself on his elbows.
"My dear you are correct again! I believe you've never been more correct!" He cheers as his applause track plays from somewhere.
"God fucking damnit Alastor!" She shouts at him and tosses the bottle on the bed. "I can't believe you!" She snaps and stomps over to the door to his room.
"You can not? Why I think I am a very truthful person!" He exclaims with radio static following his words.
She turns looking at him, to find him asleep and snoring. She sighs leaving the room and shutting the door. She walks to the elevator with teary eyes as the buzz from the vodka dies down. She goes into the elevator hitting the button to the second floor and leans against the wall. "I fucking hate that demon..." She chokes out as she holds back tears, "I hate him..."
