When sun sinks beneath the distant mountain,
My excruciating heart drips scarlet.
When splash of water blossoms in fountain,
My soul ornaments by filthy bullet.

Rain poured from pearly sky in Seattle,
And you were mesmerised by petrichor.
We knew this would be an uphill battle,
But you said, "ethereal's behind the door."

Since when did I believe in iridescent?
And since when did solitude soar away?
Since you enthralled me with your gorgeous scent,
Since you envisioned our lil getaway.

To you, who infatuated my soul.
To you, who ran away, got my heart stole.
