{Diary}

Five months.

Five months since I've seen him.

My life has been utterly boring.

I've got a job now, though.

I help out Mary and John with the baby. Hurrah.

John and I have gotten closer, over time. We've bonded since...

I have missed his face.

I've missed how his hugs felt.

I've missed the kisses and the teasing.

I've missed him.

I've tried to move on, but it never worked.

There could only be one love in my life.

Sherlock.

But now, he's gone.

That stupid Moriarty.

Made everyone believe Sherlock was a fraud. But not me and John, no.

His body was found on top of Bart's.

The building where......

I can't do this.

I want to end it all. The pain, the suffering, the heartache.

One simple act could stop it.

But then again, he is a genius. What if he's still alive, like Irene Adler?

She did it twice and she's not even half as smart as Sherlock.

I still remember the last time I saw him.

*Last time Beth saw Sherlock*

My orange hair fell down onto my face as I flipped through the catalog.

The door burst open and Sherlock walked in. He placed a gentle kiss on my forehead and looked over what I was reading. I quickly pulled the catalog to my chest, covering the contents.

"Oi! No peeking!" I said as I playfully hit his cheek.

"Sorry," he laughed. Sherlock headed for the kitchen.

"John was looking for you. He said that you guys need to start working again. I'll stay low. I don't think I can get back into all of that stuff yet. Maybe go to America again," I informed him.

"Well," Sherlock paused. "Are you sure you would be okay with that?"

I nodded, pulling a cup of tea to my lips.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Just don't die, or anything," I joked. Sherlock laughed.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," he assured me.

"I've already packed and my flight leaves in two hours."

"Wh-"

"I knew you couldn't pass up this offer," I interrupted. Sherlock nodded.

"You were right," Sherlock said, walking closer to me.

"Aren't I always?" I half-joked. Half.

"Well, I was told that the women are always right," Sherlock teased.

"Hey!" I threw the catalog at him. He flipped through the pages.

"Wedding dresses?" he asked. I nodded.

"I just want to have an idea for when we set a date."

"Okay," Sherlock nodded.

"Well," I sat up. Sherlock watched me. "Going to go to the bedroom. Join me."
