"I don't wanna go to this camp."
"It'll be fun honey, just try it. if you don't like it keep your phone on me and call me."
My mother wasn't going to be convinced. Greattttt. Now I get to go to this boring camp with these boring people. This was supposed to be the summer where I went to the beach and got new friends. Instead I'm here making friends I'll never see again.
Scratch that I'm not gonna make friends. They all eventually leave so what's the point anyway. Everyone's got a little baggage. Like for example my dad right now as I found out isn't my real dad. They decided to tell me the day before camp. Wtf?!? Who does that. And out of nowhere too. Weird.
The car stops near the entrance.
"Is it too late to go home.?"
"Yes,we are already here."
"Boooooo, you guys suck."
I was so angry. I hopped out of the car closed the door and started walking.
"So no goodbye?" My mom rolls down her window. Great. Day one and people think I'm crazy.
"Goodbye mom!" And I wave. She seems satisfied with that. But I'm not. So I mumble under my breath. "See you never." And roll my eyes.
I'll regret that later.
