It was 10:23 am, and Dean had dreadfully woken up. He woke up Jessica, then had a heart attack when he realized they were super late for school. They didn't bother for breakfast as they rushed to put on clean clothes, socks, and shoes. Dean had just enough time to change his hearing aid batteries (since they died from being on all night) and grab a snack from the kitchen. Finally, they went out the door in a full sprint since taking Dean's car didnt cross their minds. Jessica was having better time at the pace than Dean since she was more in shape. Dean was a bit below average in weight and he hardly ever ran, so he was breathing heavily and wheezing as he lagged behind his friend. In a matter of minutes, they practically broke down the front doors of the school, both gasping for air. Too tired to start an argument with each other, they both went their separate ways. It was too late to visit the UA students since their second class already started long ago and they were both still tired from the drama that happened the previous day. Dean king of felt guilty since he told them he'd be back at nine. Not to the auditorium specifically, but he felt like he gave them all false hope of seeing him that early. But, he hoped that most of them were understanding about the situation.

On the other hand, Jessica was freaking out. Nervous sweat was forming on her face, her hands were barely steady, and her thoughts went immediately to world ending memes. Even though she wasn't supposed to go see the UA students at around this time, she knew that Dean didn't go considering they woke up late; therefore, she felt like she broke a promise, even if it wasn't hers to make. She was also freaking out about the food and water situation. How the actual fuck am I going to get 20 plus lunches to them WITHOUT looking suspicious? She thought. She could ask Dean, but they both have not ONE class together and they don't have the same lunch hours. Dean also hated when she texted him during class, since most of his classes didn't allow phone use. "Fuck," She whisper-shouted. She'd just have to improvise when the time came, since she couldn't focus on forming a plan during class; however, she still sparked small ideas periodically.

As the lunch period rolled around, Jessica was still trying invent a plan to get the food out of the cafeteria. There was no way she could do this without getting caught, so she needed assistance and a convenient coverup. Since Dean was clearly out of the picture, she needed someone else. Someone like a classmate she hung out with at lunch everyday and was naive enough for Jessica to manipulate... just this once.

Haley... She ought to be great help, Jessica grinned mischievously.

Jessica had her first great idea of the day. But she clenched her teeth together in dread, because Haley would honestly be her last resort on helping her with anything. Not only would she be very hard to convince, but the girl could barley make her own decisions. However, she was the only person in there that Jessica could remotely trust (not to mention, Haley is the only friend she had in that lunch hour). Jessica could feel her blood pressure rise. She not only had to get 20+ lunches out of a public area; come up with a convincing lie for any possible roaming teachers; find something to actually put the lunches in; convince Haley to help her and lie to Haley about what she was doing; but, she had to get to the Auditorium and back to the cafeteria in one hour. Jessica was nearly in tears when a thought passed through her mind: The Spanish class' party... Dean said something about it a few days ago. Perfect!
As soon as she walked into the cafeteria, her mission started. "First, I need to find something to put the lunches on," she thought aloud. It wasn't difficult at all since there was a cart right outside the lunch line. How convenient, she thought. "Now, I need to convince Haley to help me," she whispered. This was going to be a pain in the ass, and Dean wasn't here. This was a time for desperate measures, which meant Haley. Haley was already at their usual table, considering Jessica walked in just a few minutes late. Jessica tried to walk with an air of confidence, like someone on a mission, but she didn't feel anything but dread as she walked up to the eating girl. An uncertain croak came from Jessica, "Haley! I need your help with something please."
