"Everywhere, Ella. Everywhere"

"Did you have to go to the hospital?" I wondered.

He nodded.

"Yeah, I had to take medication to help with the rash"

Oh, my.

"I could have waited until I was of age though. Maybe I wouldn't of have done something so stupid"

That makes sense.

"There are other ways to show affection, Ella"

He took another gulp of water.

"Gavin really really really likes you"

I reached for my water bottle.

"It will happen, just give it time"

I took a deep breath.

"And I hate to break it to you, but it is not romantic at all"

I laughed.

"Two words, bodily fluids"

Eww.

"Everywhere, Ella. Everywhere"

"Like your poison ivy rash" I pointed out.

He nodded.

"Yes, just like that"

I picked up my water bottle.

"One thing, Ella"

I looked at him.

"Foreplay. Take your time, and you should only feel a bit of discomfort if it's done with good intentions"

I nodded.

"Let's get in those ice baths before we cool down, yeah? I'm not really up for feeling incredibly sore tomorrow"

"What time is your flight at?" I wondered.

"We have time"

An ice bath and a shower later, we made our way to the lobby of the skating rink where Asher was waiting for us. Once Enzo was dropped off, we made our way to Camelback Ranch to pick Josie up.

"You okay?"

I opened my eyes and looked at Asher.

"Just tired" I admitted.

I sat up and slipped off my seatbelt.

"What have you been up to?" I wondered.

"I went on a hike"

"On your own?" I questioned.

"Yeah"

Well, that explains why he was not dressed in the same clothes I saw him this morning.

"Where'd you go?" I asked.

"Chola Trailhead Camelback Mountain"

He cracked a smile as I scrunched up my nose.

"What?"

"That trail is hell" I noted.

He laughed.

"I like hiking"

I shook my head.

"How was practice?"

I sighed.

"It's a lot to get done in time for June" I admitted as I turned to the window.

"The good thing is you're two aren't in it alone"

Very true.

"Don't doubt yourself, it just stresses you out"

He had a point.

"Do you know where Gavin is taking you out to dinner?"

I shook my head.

"No, all I know is that reservations are at 7:30" I answered.

We both glanced at the time, 1:19 PM.

"You can squeeze in a nap before getting ready"

That was exactly what I was planning on doing. 

"Where are you taking Jos?" I wondered.

He smiled.

"I planned the morning, she planned the evening"

I hummed.

"So we're both in the dark" I noted.

He laughed.

"I'm just surprised she was able to find a place sudden"

I looked at him.

"She for sure knew you were coming" I stated.

He nodded.

"Yeah, her reaction, when she saw me, was not as dramatic as I expected"

"Then again, she was among her co-workers" I noted.

He shook his head.

"Nah, we've been caught in compromising ways"

Ewww.

"You can ask Gavin"

We both laughed and turned when there was a light knock on the window.

"Hey" I greeted as I lowered the window.

Josie smiled at us as I opened the passenger door to step out.

"How was practice?"

I looked at her.

"We got our music for our short program" I revealed.

She smiled.

"Did you skate to it already?"

"We did" I confirmed.

"Oooh, I want to see"

We got into the car, her in the front with her boo and me in the back.

"Our practices are recorded, so I'll ask coach for a copy" I told her.

"Any clues?"

"It's in Spanish" I answered.

Josie shifted to look at me.

"How close are you?"

"Very" I replied.

"What does Gavin have to say about it?"

"He doesn't know" I admitted.

"You should tell him"

"I will" I replied.
