Chapter Seventeen ~ Melinö (2/2)

"Y/N, fuck Y/N are you okay? You're zoning out on me, shit....guys get over here she's passing out on me!"

Thuds of feet across terrain, shouts of her name yet she doesn't return to them....she allows the pull.

Taehyung stops, stills where the pinks and oranges are at their most vibrant.

She's here, he feels her and his heart is....Felminqua.

Taehyung hears his soul cry out, the part of him that was lost for so long now so close.

So this is what it means to be whole, to have purpose.

The scent of lilacs fills him with warmth, wraps around his heart which beats strong and proud against his chest.

Fingers touch, hesitant yet gentle across his forearm and his soul soars as he pulls the essence close.

"My Enda, my Fëa." His soul whispers.

He senses her fear, reluctance and hesitation but that soon fades as he touches gently and allows his soul to explore.

Oh how he wishes he could see her, to physically be with her...but for now this will have to suffice.

Time moves on, the sand of time racing against him and he feels the tug back....hears the chanting of Melinö and her touch beginning to replace that of his Enda.

He fights it, knows he shouldn't....knows it'll only make the transition back to his physical form more painful but he doesn't want to let go.

Something stirs deep within him, something long hidden.

The sudden confusion jolts him back....away from the smell of lilacs.....from the vibrant oranges and pinks.

Back to flecks of gold and silver mist.

To nails on his palms.

To chants.

To the pain as his soul reconnects with that of his physical form.

"Little prince?! Taehyung?!" Melinö cries out, chair clattering to the floor as she pushes it back in great haste.

Taehyung topples, head cracking against the wood with a sickening thud.

Pain....so much pain.

Tears stream down his cheeks, fingers and toes curling over as he loses control....spasms violent as his body contorts.

"Drink little prince, don't spill any now." Melinö drops to her knees beside Taehyung, hands cradling his head as she angles it just right, small vial containing a clear liquid touching his lips.

"Drink." She repeats, forcing his lips open and tipping the vial back.

"Good, that's it....keep going."

Taehyung drinks what he can, what his body will allow and then he succumbs to darkness.

Melinö places the now empty vial beside her, fingers gently running through Taehyung's hair.

"Oh Serenity....you still haven't told him have you." Melinö murmurs to herself as she continues to soothe the unconscious prince.

Melinö had never felt such power before.

"Your Enda is quite the witch little prince, already awakening a part of you that has been dormant since birth."

"I better hide these, wouldn't do well for you to know exactly what you are....not yet." Melinö drops her fingers to run across the scales decorating Taehyung's neck.

"Little prince, little Omrodierth."

Last of the angulóke.

((For those asking Enda was explained in previous chapters but it's basically soul mate, the oldest and strongest kind of love for Elvish people. Angulóke means dragon, again this was discussed in the Serenity chapter, Omrodierth the last of his kind and the weapon which can defeat the darkness coming and the only one who can awaken Omrodierth is Y/N. SO Taehyung is Omrodierth, shapeshifter and NO he doesn't know what he is. That's been kept from him and his family, I wonder why 👀🤣 I wonder why Serenity kept this from everyone and why Omrodierth has been kept dormant all this time.
