Motionless, still, stuck.
Those are the kind of things we like-pictures.
We admire stillness, stagnation sometimes subconsciously. We tend to mimic what we like. So sometimes it seems like life happens to you or as if only time is moving.
We want perfection of a still frame. But when you are in motion, when you run, you might, slip, you might fall down, and it will be sweaty. Being in motion may not provide with an ideal or 'nice' picture.
But remember the scenes that run so smoothly in an episode had to be filmed numerous times to be near perfect.
We only see the finished product.
We don't see that we have to try many times before making something that can be approved. We don't see the retakes. We don't see the effort and time it took before reaching, arriving.
There's no such thing as flawless beauty on this earth. Humans lack, we struggle, we miss, get tired. But we also smile, hope again and try.
And sometimes that effort of yours gets acknowledged, recognised, appreciated- just like when you're lost in a moment and someone secretly but lovingly snaps a photo of you- you are found by the photographer.
Our eyes are like cameras, we record moments and remember them. Sometimes the photos get blurry. But they are always a witness- to things we experienced and of people we met. Whether we saw beauty in them or if our lens was not clean at that time.
So I wonder if the click of the camera is more life-changing for the photographer or for the one being photographed.
