Kunimi was looking forward to a relaxing afternoon without volleyball practice, but when a random girl on the streets suddenly collapsed, his own plans had to wait. Reluctantly he helps her, though to the boy's disliking, she turned out to be a real...
I'm still wondering why there weren't even rumors...Not that I want there to be, but isn't everyone always making a huge deal out of every little thing they see?
Today during lunch break with my friends, I came to realize that really no one must have noticed...

Himari and Ichika's eyes seemed to be glued onto one of the girls' phones. They laughed and muttered to each other.
"What are you looking at?" I asked, wanting to know what their weird behavior was all about.
Himari practically shoved the phone into my face. "Look at these cute pictures of Oikawa-senpai!" she said hastily with literal heart eyes.
"Oh, oh, (Y/N)!" Ichika spoke in the same tone as the black-haired girl. "I'm so jealous of you! You were smart and thought of becoming the manager! Why didn't I think of that before?" she sulked.
"At least show us the pictures you took of Oikawa-senpai then!" Himari demanded.
I was a little taken aback. "Wh-what? Why does everyone think I'm only the manager to see Oikawa? I'm the manager, because I wanted to be the manager!"
"Yeah~, because you wanted to look at all the hot boys~" she cooed.
Before I could even try to speak up again, the blonde took the word from me. "No, girl. Don't tell me you don't think they're attractive."
"Not only the senpais are handsome." Himari added. "There are also some hot first years."
"Yeah, Kindaichi is even in your class, isn't he (Y/N)?" Ichika asked.
I wanted to answer her question, but Himari again gave me no chance to speak. "Yeah, Kindaichi is okay, but I personally think the other first year is hotter. What was his name again?"
"I think it was Kunimi. Yeah, maybe you should try to get to know him, Hima-chan. The chances with him are definitely higher than with Oikawa-senpai." Ichika suggested. I could feel my blood slowly beginning to boil.
"Hmm, maybe you're right, Icchan. (Y/N), would you introduce me to him?" The black-haired girl asked excitedly.
A shadow lay over my eyes as I started talking in a calm but intimidating voice. "Oh, so you're finally done ranting. Let me tell you guys one thing. Kunimi is out of the question for your silly games." I commanded in a stern tone.
They seemed taken aback at first but started their teasing again. "Ooh~ Does (Y/N)-chan have a crush~?"
I didn't react the way they wanted me to though. Instead of blushing and losing my composure, I smirked maliciously and said. "No, (Y/N)-chan doesn't have a crush. (Y/N)-chan has a boyfriend."
They gasped. "Damn, that was dramatic! Why didn't you just tell us sooner?"
"Because you wouldn't let me speak, idiots!" I yelled at them.
"So Kunimi is your boyfriend? Since when?" Ichika asked.
I put my index finger on my lip and looked upwards, thinking. "Um... since about a few weeks. It was on the day I became the manager..."
"What?! For so long already!? Why didn't you tell us? We're best friends!" Himari lectured me.
"Well, I thought it was obvious..." I shrugged. "Though I was wondering already why everyone is always so surprised."
"You're not obvious! When I see a team member and their manager I don't automatically assume they're dating!"
A bead of sweat ran down my forehead as I awkwardly smiled. "Oh shoot, you're right...So that's why no one noticed... But what about us holding hands? Someone must have noticed that."
"To be honest, do you even hold hands? I've never seen it."
"We do on the way to and from school."
The blonde facepalmed. "(Y/N), you do realize that almost no one lives in the direction you live in. And the few people who do probably go to school at different times or don't give a frick about you."
"Yeah, that makes sense..." I hesitantly agreed.
"Aaaaanyways- (Y/N), tell us everything! First time you talked to each other! Who confessed their feelings first? How far did you go already? Give us every detail!" Himari asked excitedly.
"Oh, umm... Our first interaction..." I hummed out. "Well, to put it simple: I called him 'Mom', demanded a hug and let him carry me home." I raised a finger in a matter-of-fact way. The girls looked at me in disbelief, struggling to process what I just said.
I burst out in laughter and my friends joined in. "That was a good one, (Y/N). You almost had me there."
"No, that is literally what happened." I chuckled. Their laughter died down as they looked at me, dumbfounded. "Wut?"
After I explained it, Ichika complained laughing. "You could have said so in the first place, jeez. Your first explanation lacked a lot of important detail"
"Ok, ok! Now the confession!" Himari demanded to hear like I was some kind of romance novel.
I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Alright, so: He was walking me home like always and we looked at the stars together. I was uncomfortable about something, so he held my hand to comfort me. The moment seemed perfect, so I made up my mind to confess to him before saying goodbye. Though when the moment came, I chickened out and decided not to." I chuckled awkwardly.
The girls were listening carefully, eyes glued onto my figure and I knew that deep down Himari felt the need to get some popcorn. "AW, come on!" she complained as if I was a TV show.
"Shh." Ichika shushed her. "What happened next?" she asked interested.
I continued talking. "Well, I turned to leave, but he grabbed my hand and pulled he to his chest. Then he looked deep into my eyes and we kissed." I smiled with a tiny hint of red on my cheeks.
My friends squealed happily.
I smiled at them and concluded my story. "And that's when he asked me to be his girlfriend."
"Where can I rate this five stars?" Himari joked and squealed yet again. I chuckled.
"But now to the most important part!" Ichika interrupted. "How far did you guys go already?"
