Eden town was located in Ewreburg island, an island between the boundaries of Africa and Europe, because of this it was known for it's usual chaotic weather and because of this Castor was far from surprised when it began to drizzle again. But all four of them were too busy staring down in horror at the slumped body before them to care about the rain.

Castor Duhaime had found the body of his dead parents and it still haunted his every decision, the police had concluded it was murder suicide situation. Their mother had killed their father mistakingly and killed herself after, the twins had been spending the night at their grandparents but little as he was Castor had been able to sense that something was wrong, he had snuck out of the family cabin and ran as fast as his awkward legs could carry him. It was the only rebellious thing he had ever done.

In a way he could sense deaths, his mother had Irish descents and while it was not acceptable to say it out loud; she had been a banshee, she had been able to sense the deaths of those close to her, her powers had extended to sensing every death in Ewreburg. It had almost driven her mad and despite the fact that Castor was male -- the banshee genes could only be passed from female to female -- he had still inherited some of his mother's ability. He had scented this woman's death right from the moment they stepped out of the cemetery. If he had to guess, he'd be certain she had only been dead for hours and they had stumbled upon her in this strange town that looked so much like Eden but was not actually Eden.

He didn't mind the harsh cold of the rain, it was better than gazing into the wide eyes of this dead woman who looked so much like Tehani and feeling nothing. He was numb to death.

Now they were all looking at him, the mantle of leadership suddenly thrust on his shoulders. He sighed and for the first time in a long while he wished he were more like Pollux.

"Why are you looking at me?" He snapped when the stares became unbearable. Even Tehani stared at him helplessly, tears of fear gleaming in her eyes.

"You know stuff about death, what should we do?" Pollux said. Yurika nodded and he recalled her snapping at him mere moments ago.

"We need a plan," Castor finally said. "In the most important order; we need a place to sleep tonight, and a safe place from whatever is out there killing people."

Yurika blanched visibly. Pollux was biting his nails and Tehani leaned against the tree, he saw she was trying to hard not to look at the elephant in the room.

"Then we need to find out where the hell we are and how to get back home." He finished. "Any ideas?"

"What about . . . the body?" Tehani asked, she looked ashen, lips clenched tightly together as if she was afraid she's spill her guts any moment. "She looks so much like me."

"I have a theory on that." Yurika said, she began speaking rapidly. "What if we've somehow travelled back in time, it explains why Eden looks like this."

Castor nodded.

"Wait a second, so now we're believing time travel exists?" Pollux said, bewilderment in his tone. Castor didn't blame him, it had taken months for him to believe that their parents were dead and wouldn't be coming back. Pollux was a sceptic, he never believed things were worse until they slapped him in the face, but now he had no time for scepticism.

"Do you have a better theory? Should I remind you that it's your fault we're here? Castor said scathingly. To his credit, Pollux didn't flinch, only rubbed his forehead in resignation.

"So this woman is my grandmother, I mean was . . ." Tehani trailed off, sounding very close to tears. Castor was suddenly very tired, but yet again someone had to be wise, someone had to stand in.
