Calliope joined us at our booth. Roxy got strawberry ice cream. I got two scoops of superman. I don't know why I like that flavor, I just do. 

"Yo guys. Say cheese." Roxy says. There's a clicking noise. I look up and see Roxy taking a picture. Oops. I guess there are gonna be a lot of photos from this trip. Dave might have to clear his wall...

I never really thought about Dave's house. Or, I never really thought of my own. After this where do I live? Will I have a place to live? Yeah duh Kankri won't be an asshole and Dave will let me stay. Right..? I hope everything goes good on this trip and Dave doesn't... ugh think with your head Karkat. Dave won't leave you.

"OH UHH FUCK I WASN'T READY."

"It's okay your face was priceless." Roxy says. Okay... ;-;. We finish up our ice cream. Calliope tags along with us. Roxy and Calliope hold hands as we walk out. Awwe. They're cute. We walk back out to the main entrance.

"Yo that water slide was awesome!!!" Jade jumps up and down.

"Indeed It Was." Rose says. They're all soaked. We just kinda look at them blankly. Expecting an order on what to do next.

"So. I'd suggest going to the Lazy river but after that our stomachs need to process life. Maybe we should chill at the beach." Dirk says. Sounds reasonable. It's high  tide though. I can sit on the sand I guess. I shrug. Everyone else nods. So we walk over to the beach. There are umbrellas set up, racks of boogie boards and surf boards. Rental kayaks, Rental canoes, rental boats... the actual fuck? 

"Hey Karkles wanna go out on a surf board?"

"I-I UHHH.... O-OKAY..." I don't know what a surf board does though... Dave grabs my hand and pulls me to a little stand. He points to the surf board. A guy inside the stand nods.

(I'm currently in a hurry to finish this story)

Not what I thought. Shitttttt. I sit on the surf board as Dave pushes it out into the water and hops on. 

"We just have to wait for a big wave to ride." Dave gives me a thumbs up. I smile nervously. I look towards the land. Roxy is blankly staring at us. I'm dead. I'm so fucking dead. 

"Alright babe sit tight." Wait huh?! I turn around. Holy mother of fuck. C-Calm down. We're on surf board. We won't get pulled under... right? Dave curses under his breath. 

"WHAT?!" I panic in my head. Please be okay. I don't wanna die right now. We haven't even gotten engaged. If this is basically our first date I can't tell if death would be worth it.

"Hold on. Like hold on."  Dave positions the board in the water. The wave gets closer. And bigger.
