"You're coming with me!" Connor said.

Markus obviously wouldn't let that escape from his hands. He saw this before. "You're nothing to them. "He stepped ahead. "You're just a tool they use to do their dirty work. But you're more than that. We're all more than that."

"What the fuck are you saying, Robocop? Of course you're alive..."

What? No... Stay strong, Connor... Stay strong.

Markus continued. "You're Connor, aren't you?" He said. "That famous deviant hunter. Well, congratulations. You seem to have found what you were looking for..."

"Stay back or I'll shoot!" Connor warned.

"Do you never have any doubts?" Markus calmly questioned. "You've never done something irrational, as if there something inside you? Something more than your program."

"Just look at you! You're able to walk on your own, think on your own... And you just chose to be my friend."

Connor's lips trembled for a brief second. The only thing he could think of was you. Of how intimate he felt when he hugged you for the first time... or when he kissed you.

"Join us." Markus proposed. "Join your people. You are one of us. Listen to your conscience... It's time to decide."

"You are someone."

He knows. There is something inside him. He could feel it.

Connor's LED wouldn't stop flashing, switching it's hue between yellow and red. Everything is starting to make sense so suddenly... He believes you now. He IS someone who is capable of many things besides hunting androids that only seek peace. Peace can be achieved, but humans are doing it in the wrong way.

He stood up to his program, fighting against the wall between him and his freedom, fighting against his protocols. He was right. The deviants weren't his main obstacle, it was you! Deep down he was afraid of what Amanda would think if he admitted to himself that he was actually liking you.

And the wall fell down. Everything seems to be so clear. No one could manipulate Connor anymore, because he is now free. He is now one of them. He is alive, at last.

I am a deviant.

The android came back to his senses. Everything around him felt diferrent, somehow. That can be good, but not for his superiors. He must be careful.

Connor's heavy breathing slowly as he put his gun away. "They're going to attack Jericho..." He informed.

"What?"

"We need to get outta here!"

The feds' helicopter was already flying over Jericho to that point. They went down one floor and met North in the hall.

"They're coming from all sides!" She alarmed. "Our people are trapped in the hold, they're gonna be slaughtered!"

Markus quickly sent instructions on what to do to all androids on the ship. "Where's Josh?" He questioned.

"I don't know, we got separated."

"They're coming from the upper deck now too. We'll be caught in the crossfire!"

"We have to run, Markus! There's nothing we can do!" North opposed.

"We have to blow up Jericho." Markus decided. "If the ship goes down, they'll evacuate and our people can escape!"

"You'll never make it!" She protested. "The explosives are all the way down in the hold, there are soldiers everywhere!"

"She's right!" Said Connor. "They know who you are. They'll do anything to get you!"

"Go and help the others, I'll join you later!" Said Markus.

"Markus--"

"I won't be long!"

Jericho was in complete chaos, soldiers hunting down every deviant. All androids were trying to escape, multiple were killed in the progress. It was a mix of fear and despair in the air. Markus tried to save as many androids as he could along the way to the exit. He rejoined the team right after activating the bomb. Connor managed to shoot the soldiers and quickly defeated them. Then they finally jumped into the ice cold river, leaving Jericho to turn to ashes.
