Little Secret (Jack & Marinette)

Start from the beginning

"I said I was hanging out with Mary. I talked to her the other day, and she told me she would cover for me, so we're all good on my end." Marinette explained. "What did you tell your parents."

"My parents are away for a couple of days, and my sisters are staying at a friend's house, so I'm home alone," Jack explained. "Maybe we can go there later..." Jack said making Marinette smile.

After some time driving, Jack and Marinette got out of the car. Their date started with them sneaking into the movies, watching a movie with stupid teens running around getting killed by a crazy killer. Most people were sitting in the theater jumping in their seats, but Marinette and Jack could help but laugh at the gore on the screen. After the movie was over they headed over to a little shop that had ice cream. Once they had their ice cream, the two of them walked through the park together. As they walked together eating their ice cream, Jack noticed that Marinette had something on her mind.

"Marinette," Jack said knocking her out of her thought.

"Um, yeah."

"Are you okay? You look like you're thinking about something that's bothering you."

Marinette sighed throwing out her now empty cup.

"I was just thinking about us..." Marinette started.

"What about us?"

"How long do you think we can keep this up, you know our parents are going to find out about us soon. Should we just tell them now?"

"I don't like hiding either but you know our dads will lose it when they find out. I don't want them to force us apart." Jack explained. "I love too much to let that happen."

Marinette smiled wrapping her arms around Jack's tall figure.

"I love you, too, Jack," Marinette whispered.

"We'll tell them someday, but right now we need to play it safe," Jack said before kissing Marinette.

Marinette closed her eyes. It was like they were in their own little world, away from all the family drama and fear of being apart. It felt like nothing could ruin this moment.

"Marinette?!"

Marinette and Jack's hearts stopped, they quickly pulled apart to see you standing there, completely shocked, angry, and confused.

"Mom, what are you doing here?" Marinette said fear clearly in her voice.

"I'm keeping an eye on my target who's here, I should be asking you what you're doing here." You said. "You told me that you were going to hang out with Mary, but you're here kissing Mundy's son. So, I would love for you to explain, WHAT'S GOING ON?!"

Marinette looks at Jack before looking at you, still waiting for an answer.

"Okay, the truth is Jack and I have been dating for the past 6 months. I lied because I didn't want you to tell Dad, since I knew he would force us apart because of his hate for Jack's dad." Marinette explained tears starting to fall down her face.

Jack wrapped his arm around Marinette, trying to comfort his love.

"Ma'am, I'm sorry that we lied to you, but Marinette and I really love each other and we didn't want our father's hate for each other to force us apart," Jack explained. "I understand if you don't want us to see each other anymore, I will respect that," Jack said trying to hold back his tears.

You stood there looking at the two teens, you weren't sure what to do. You knew the feelings the two showed for each other were real, but you knew Jacques won't care how they felt. You looked at Jack, you didn't have a problem with Mundy and his son was a very respectful young man. You sighed.

"That won't be necessary," You said confusing the two teens. "I'll keep your guys' secret."

"Wait, really?!" Marinette smiled moving closer to you.

"Yes, but you have to tell them someday. I never like your father keeping secrets from Jeremy, I don't want you keeping secrets from your father. You're also grounded for a week for lying to me." You told her.

"That's fine, I understand and I promise we'll tell them soon. Thank you, Mom!" Marinette cried hugging you.

"You're welcome, sweetheart." You said hugging her back.

You let her go and looked at Jack.

"Thank you, ma'am. I promise too." He said with a smile.

You open your arms out and waved your hands. He move close to you and you gave him a hug.

"You're a good kid, Jack, but... If you hurt my daughter I will fucking kill you, I don't care if your Mundy's son, he won't be able to stop me." You whisper in his ear, scaring the poor boy. "Okay, I have to get back to work. I'll see you at home, Marinette."

"I'll see you later, Mom," Marinette said.

"Oh, one more thing," You said turning around and looking at the teens. "If you two have sex, please don't forget protection."

"MOM!!!" Marinette yelled turning bright red.

"What? I just want you two to be safe, if you get pregnant, telling your father that would make things worst." You explained.

"I know Mom, just please go!"

"Okay, I'm going, good night you two." You said leaving the two teens alone.

Marinette groaned resting her head against Jack's chest.

"God, she's so embarrassing," Marinette said hiding her face.

Jack laughed a little, putting his hand on her back.

"Did you still want to go back to my house for a little bit before you go home?"

"We can go there, but I honestly think the mood was killed," Marinette commented.

"Yeah, fair enough." Jack laughed as the two of them headed back to his car.

(A/N - This is my first time writing about just the children of the mercs. and I honestly love this. This idea was suggested by MexicanPyro and I couldn't help but write this. I hope you all like this and I might do more like this.)
