You come over. I open the door and hug you like I haven't seen you in a million years.
I miss you, but you don't miss me. You just miss controlling me. You miss seeing how weak I am in front of you.
I let myself surrender to you. Isn't that what you do when you're in love?
I surrender to you.
You take my phone and go through it, wanting a reason to argue about.
"Who's this guy?" You ask pointing at the picture I liked.
I stay silent, waiting for the storm in you to come alive. And slowly, you set the raging beast free.
"You're cheating on me!" You accuse as I cry.
You shatter the glass and shatter my heart.
Then, you leave.
You go to sleep In another's arms.
