He sat at a table looking at the plate in front of him. His teammates around him stuffed their faces faster than he thought was humanly possible. It was as if he could hear every bite, no not bite, every gram they were gaining in body weight. It looked so easy. The plate in front of him only held a small amount of rice, but he couldn't help but think about what it would bring. The way it filled his stomach felt unnatural, it wasn't right.
"Come on Tsukishima, you need to eat something!" The small redhead across from him smiled, it was so simple. The rest of them stared as he brought a small amount of rice to his mouth examining it for a moment. He slowly chewed disgusted by the feeling and taste in his mouth, it finally slid down his throat, it wasn't so simple. He continued until he had finally swallowed the last few grains.
After a few minutes he stood up ready to leave, the lump in his throat was refusing to be swallowed. "Where are you going?" He met eyes with Yamaguchi who had decided to hold his wrist. "Bathroom, I'll see you in class." With that, the other gave a nod and he left. He kept his head down focussing on clearing his mind, getting rid of his thoughts, becoming as numb to his body as possible.
