He was lying in bed and he still didn't believe what happened last night was actually real he still thought it was a silly nightmare so he ignored it he made his breakfast and ate it after that he started to look at the mirror again but this time the only thing he saw was himself and not the northern troodon but then "gilbert" the voice said as the reflection turned from gilbert to the northern troodon "you're not real you are just a hallucination!" gilbert said with a bit of anger in his voice "hallucination? I assure you all of this is real" the troodon said as gilbert's expression turned from confused to angry luckily his uncle wasn't there to hear him "get out of my head!" gilbert demanded "how? You and i are the same how do you think i would get out of my own head?" the troodon asked "this cant be happening to me" gilbert said "you keep denying it but its actually the truth" the troodon said "what are you talking about?" gilbert asked scratching his head "im talking about me im real" the troodon said "im not buying this my IQ is..." gilbert stopped mid way through his sentence "on the level of buddy's IQ?" the troodon finished "how did you know that?" gilbert asked "as i said i am you" the troodon said gilbert was still confused at what this thing is he knew it was an alter ego but he still tried to deny it cause he didn't want to live with an alternate personality in his mind he was worried he would hurt his uncle his friends and especially shiny "listen" the troodon said "im not like them" the troodon said "what?" gilbert asked "im not like those other alter egos most of them are just the opposite of their real selves but not me im different" he explained "what's so different about you?" gilbert asked "im a more simpler version the version you know is the more common version those are just mindless killing machines while i have actual intellect" the troodon said "but be warned i do have a taste violence" the troodon said "okay i believe you now" gilbert said "good was that so hard to do now?" the troodon asked "but" gilbert said "but what?" the troodon asked "you can hurt anyone you want but not the innocents and not her" gilbert said "i understand and i know which her you're talking about" the troodon said
"wait you do?" gilbert asked "remember i am you im just a little altered but i do have your memories" he answered "i like violence but i would never hurt shiny she means the world to you i know cause i've seen that one memory you had when she admitted that she liked you and that's when i decided i would protect her like you do" the troodon explained "but i wont hurt your friends too and i will never hurt your or rather our uncle" he said "good so we've arranged something" gilbert said "there is one thing though" gilbert said "what is it?" the troodon asked "what should i call you?" gilbert asked "anything you like i dont mind as long as you can actually refer to me by name" the troodon said "hmmm.. Maybe icey no that's too cliche maybe johnnathan no that's too normal" gilbert said "wait" gilbert said "how about winter?" gilbert asked "winter huh? Sounds nice enough" the troodon said "okay then now you're named winter" gilbert said "so what now?" gilbert asked "just do your daily routine i wont get in the way" winter answered "you sure?" gilbert asked "yes" winter said as gilbert got out of his house and took a walk around troodon town greeting his fellow conductors john and hannah after this he went to the station waiting for the dinosaur train "what are we doing here?" winter asked "im waiting for the train maybe my uncle or terry knows of how to deal with you" gilbert answered "you're gonna separate us aren't you?" winter asked concerned "no dont worry i trust you i just wanna know what you can do" gilbert said "thank goodness i was afraid you would actually consider leaving me cause if you did you will be nothing without me" winter said "what are you saying?" gilbert asked "if we ever get separated you will loose all your power and i will be my own being" winter explained as the dinosaur train finally came by after that gilbert hopped on the train then talked with his uncle "uncle i have some good and bad news which do you wanna know?" gilbert asked "the good news i guess" mr conductor answered "i have found a way to master my power" gilbert answered "that's great! Im happy for you but what's with the bad news?" mr conductor asked "well you see..." gilbert hesitated "i have an alter ego and he likes violence" gilbert answered "what?!" mr conductor asked "yeah so last night before i slept through the night a voice talked to me and told me to look at the mirror then i saw a northern troodon" gilbert explained "we need to get you two separated now!" mr conductor said "no dont worry he's quite calm i told him to only hurt bad people" gilbert said "phew! I thought we would have a bigger threat than valkyrie here" mr conductor sighed in relief "but my friends need to know of this" gilbert said "alright i'll gather them at pteranodon terrace" mr conductor said "and by the way does this northern troodon have a name?" mr conductor asked "yes i named him winter" gilbert answered "winter hmmm nice name" mr conductor said "thanks he likes it too" gilbert said as the train gathered all his friends and headed to pteranodon terrace when he got there they headed to the beach to talk "so gilbert what's so important today?" buddy asked "well you wont believe this but i have an alter ego" gilbert said as buddy was shocked at what he had just heard "oh no you're gonna turn evil and destroy us all aren't you?" buddy asked nervously "dont worry he's a wise guy he is very calm and i only told him to hurt bad people" gilbert said "oh okay then does he have a name?" buddy asked "yes i named him winter" gilbert said "gilbert are you a hundred percent sure that winter wont hurt us?" shiny asked as gilbert's eyes started glowing "dont worry shiny i wont do anything horrible to you" winter said through gilbert's body as gilbert's eyes turned back to normal "what was that now?" gilbert asked winter "nothing i just took control for a bit to make sure that im on their side" winter answered "dont worry guys its just winter he just wanted to make sure he's on our side" gilbert said as a loud roar was heard in the distance "what was that?" don asked "i dont know but it sounded exactly like a t rex" tiny said as a creature from behind the rocks emerged and yes it was a t rex but its body looked like valkyrie's it stared at the team with lifeless eyes "i've got this" buddy said as the creature charged buddy countered it with his fire cannon it did nothing the creature started throwing buddy around and soon after did the same thing to tiny don daphnie annie valerie keanan and tank and ned despite their huge size and it almost got shiny "gilbert listen to me i've got an idea but you have to trust me on this" winter said "we're running out of options here bud so what do you got?" gilbert asked "you have the ability to transform your body into me so do that" winter said "how do i know you're not just gonna turn on me?" gilbert asked "i wont trust me and besides it doesn't look like you have much of a choice either" winter said "you have a point there so how do i do this?" gilbert asked "just focus and release all the anger from your body be calm like me" winter replied "okay then" gilbert said as he emitted a icy light from him his skin transformed from his normal orange to ice cold blue and out of the light was winter he had finally revealed himself "just promise me you wont hurt them" gilbert said "you can count on me" winter said smiling the creature charged at him at full force winter took notice so he used ice shot and shot it at the creature's foot after that he used an ability called 'blizzard blitz' this move is a move that uses speed as a weapon the user can attack while running he used this multiple times until the creature had scars and then "gilbert let me show what i can really do" winter said as he made his signature weapon his glacial scythe he used this to slash at the creature then he pounded it at the ground then released a bunch of ice spikes towards the creature "it ends here!" winter yelled as he stabbed the creature in the chest then froze it after that he broke the frozen creature then it turned to nothing he turned to look shiny who was afraid gilbert had just turned into a monster "shiny" winter said "dont be afraid of me im not going to hurt you" winter said as he touched shiny's cheek "are you certain?" shiny asked "yes" winter replied as he turned back into gilbert after that gilbert explained everything to the others and now they fully trusted winter after what he had just done to save them gilbert went home after this and while in the train "thank you winter" gilbert said "well it was the only thing i could do for our girlfirend" winter said "girlfriend? No no no she just has a relationship with me im not going that far" gilbert said "really? cause i thought you said you loved her" winter giggled "we haven't even dated yet!" gilbert said "alright alright" winter said "now apologize" gilbert said "no i dont do that" winter said "do it or else you and i get separated" gilbert said "fine fine geez! Im sorry" winter said as the dinosaur train went back to troodon town

Author's notes: crazy huh? Yeah now gilbert has an alter ego on his side and i didn't want to make winter a cold blooded killer that would be too generic so i made him into a calm and wise guy he just likes violence and by the way if you haven't noticed it yet i took a bit of inspiration from my favorite spider man villain 'venom' particularly tom hardy's venom cause gilbert tells winter he can only kill bad people just like how eddie tells venom he can only eat bad people so yeah find out what happens next time on DINOSAUR TRAIN EVOLUTION!
