Chapter 2

Cameron's POV

"You think you can just run away, well you have another thing coming?" Lydia shouted while running after me. I kept on running, no matter what I would never let her catch me, but she kept getting closer and closer and closer, she was about to grab me when I woke up to Jane shaking me.

"Another nightmare huh?" She asked and I nodded yes.

"Was it about your aunt taking you back to Lydia?" She asked.

"No this time it was Lydia herself" I answered.

"Okay, yep that woman is officially a demon" She chuckled trying to cheer me up. I got up from the bed. I checked the time and it was 05:32.

"Dude I'm starving, lets make breakfast" Jane said.

"I'm glad you said that cause was gonna eat you" I said then I shortly realized the words that came out of my mouth and I completely regretted it.

"If you wanna eat my ass all you have to do is ask" She said laughing at me.

"You know that's not what I meant" I rolled my eyes. Then Adam walked in our room.

"How much would I have to pay to get my ass eaten?" He smacked his ass and we all started laughing. We all came out the room and headed straight to the kitchen. I swear the quickest way to our hearts is food, you wanna kidnap us?, use food to lure us, you wanna take us out?, we better be going to a restaurant, you want us to snitch?, then get us food, I'm kidding about the last one, or am I?. We made some fluffy pancakes, seriously they were fluffy, if those pancakes were people they would have a very thicccque pus-.

"Good morning guys, How'd you sleep?" Parker greeted interrupting my thoughts.

"Fine" We said in unison. Jade gave me a stern look. I rolled my eyes.

"Did you guys think about what you're gonna do?" He asked grabbing a plate.

"Yes, we did, we're gonna finish school" I answered with both Jane and Adam Staring me down.

"I think that's a mature and a great idea" He said heading back to his room. Then they cornered me.

"When did we agree on this?" Jane asked.

"Guys don't be mad" I said.

"How can we not be?, I don't want to go to school, they used to make fun of me" Adam said.

"Yeah, and I'll slap a hoe if a gotto" She folded her arms.

"Oh yeah?, well I have a question for you two, what did you want to become and why?" I said looking at both of them.

"I wanted to be a Speech Language Pathologist, because there was this boy that had a speech disability and they would make fun of him for it and sometimes I would help him with words, and I really liked helping him" He said looking down.

"And you?" I said pointing to Jane.

"I wanted to become an Oncologist, my bestfriend had lung cancer and they didn't find out until it was too late, I thought to myself if they found out faster maybe she would be alive today, I didn't want anyone else to go through that" She said.

"Good, school will help us to get there, I don't want to be useless, I want to be out in the world meaning something, and we can't do it without graduating, its only one year, come on guys" I pleaded.

"Okay, fine we'll go" Jane answered.

"I'm sorry but did I consent?" Adam said chuckling, I took that as a yes, he walked away and got in the shower leaving me and Jane.
