(TFP Starcee) Unexpected Turn of Events

How It All Began

(This story takes place in season two where Starscream is living the harbinger and Smokescreen has joined the autobots and Starscream and Arcee were gone for two months)

"STARSCREAM!!!"

The whole team then jumped back in shock and were about to stain the walls with the con's energon. "Guuuhhh!" Starscream, well screamed and hid behind Arcee while holding onto her shoulder plates for protection.
"Whoa! Guys no stop!" She shouted and held out her arms and glared at them, everyone in the room gave each other worried and confused glances before they hesitatingly lowered their weapons and otimus was the first one to step forward to say something but Miko got to the question first.
"So after all this time screamer is your secret lover Arcee, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" She shouted from across the room on the railing, Raf had to grab her just in case she fell off while Jack was starring daggers at Starscream who was slowly stepping out from behind the femme with a very nervous look on his face plates. Arcee just rubbed the back of her neck cables and blushed a little then answered.
"Y-yes he was is the one who saved me and is the sire my- our sparklings" she then grabbed the mech's servo, he smiled slightly and squeezed her servo in response and looked up to the prime to confirm their affection for each other.
Optimus hummed slightly and walk over to them then placed his large servo on Starscream's shoulder and said in a warm tone, "Thank you for taking care of Arcee for us, but we must know about what happened to you both during your absence"
"Yes of cause, thank you prime" Starscream said and Optimus lead them both to a area where there some crates for them to sit down, Ratchet quickly walked over to Optimus and pulled away to talk to him alone.
"Optimus what are you doing, you know we can't trust Starscream, what if he tries to kill us or takes Arcee away from us again." They both glanced over at the couple then back at each other. Optimus sighed and said with a stern expression.
"I know Ratchet, but this is the only way for us to know what happened to Arcee and Starscream. They both have gone through a traumatic experience." He looked back at Arcee and Starscream again and saw that he was rubbing her belly with a smile, a genuine smile that made the leader smile a little too. "And maybe he will change for the better and join us"
The old medic sighed and tried to say something but couldn't think of anything to say, he then shook his helm and spoke.
"I hope your right about this Optimus because I don't want to see Arcee hurt ever again" to him, Arcee was like a sister and he would do anything for her.
In the background smokescreen, bumblebee and bulkhead were giving the ex-con hateful looks as they were chattering among themselves until Starscream looked up from Arcee's stomach and glanced at the other boys then back at Arcee again. "I should probably go talk to them"
"Umm are you sure that's a good idea Star, I mean your pretty much on their naughty list for life" she said with Concern in her voice. He chuckled and stood up then pressed a kiss to her forehelm and walked away from her a confident smile. She just prayed that he will be alright. Internally Starscream was freaking out but he had to prove them that he has changed.
The group of bots jumped a little when saw him approaching and was about to pulls out their weapons but Starscream spoke up first. "Don't worry I'm not gonna hurt you I just want to say something"
"Oh yeah and what's that?" Bulkhead said with anger in his voice.
"I'm sorry...for everything that I have done to you all in the past and I know that you guys will never trust me" this surprised everyone and caused them to go silent as he continued, "I've come here for Arcee and to make peace so that I can be here for her."
He let his words sink in and was about to walk away until Smokescreen spoke up. "That was cool and of cause you can stay here!" He then warped an arm around Starscream who yelped in surprise.
"Wha- what are you doing kid?!" Bulkhead shouted angrily, even  Starscream was taken a back by the contact.
"Oh come on guys he came all this way say sorry to us, can we at least give him a chance" smokey said with a confident smile, both bee and bulkhead looked at each other for a second then back at Starscream who was giving them a worried expression.
*maybe we should give him a chance* bumblebee beeped and bulkhead just huffed and walked away to his berth room, the bots looked back the ex-con with a smile, *don't worry he'll come around eventually, so maybe just stay away from him, ok*
"*sigh* thanks" Starscream replied and relaxed his frame a little. Ratchet and Optimus soon walked over to the group.
"Starscream, you can stay with us a long as you want, but you have to follow our rules" Optimus explained, Starscream  nodded and looked over at Arcee and they smiled at each other. Everything is turning out good so far. "But you do understand that we cannot trust you fully yet, so if you don't mind could you and Arcee please explain to us what happened four months ago.
"Oh yes, of cause Optimus" the seeker said then slipped out of Smokescreen's arm and walked over to Arcee and sat down next to her, the others gathered around in the room and Arcee  cleared her throat and began the story.
"It all started when I was getting this strange message in my helm"
