Picture of Chase^^^
"So, I met someone last night."
I admit to Dani the next day. It's around noon now, and we're sitting at the diner downtown.
"What!?" She yells, Attracting attention from people around us.
"Shhhh," I laugh before proceeding to tell her everything from last night. Including the kiss and Elias' odd behavior.
Her eyes are wide by the time I'm finished my story. "First off, it sounds like someone is extremely jealous." She laughs. "Secondly, what's his name? Do I know him?" She asks.
"His name is Chase. Chase Thomas." I smile.
She gasps. "I dont know him personally, but I've seen him around. He is fucking gorgeous!"
"I know!" I laugh. "He wants to see me again soon. I'm so excited." I smile.
"Of course you are," Dani says. "Any woman in her right mind would be."
I laugh as the waiter comes back with our check. We pay at the counter and make our way back to the apartment.

We're sitting on the couch, watching The Vampire Diaries on Netflix when my phone beeps.
EJ: Hey, Tessa.
Me: Hey, what's up?
EJ: Not much. Having a rough day.
Me: What's wrong?
EJ: I don't really know what to say other than the fact that I fucked up big time, and I have no idea how to make it right. But I need to act fast before it's too late.
Me: It's never to late to make things right, EJ.
EJ: It is when the person you need to make things right with wants absolutely nothing to do with you anymore.
Me: They'll come around eventually, I'm sure. Everything will work it's self out :)
EJ: I really hope so. Enjoy the rest of your day, Tess.
Me: You too.
"Who is that?" Dani asks, glancing over my shoulder.
I shrug. "Some guy named EJ. He says he went to school with me and got my number from someone I'm close with. Do you know him?" I ask.
She thinks for a moment before shaking her head. "No, I've never heard that name before."
"Hmm," I say. "I wonder who would've given him my number."
"No clue. It definitely wasn't me." Dani says. "Enough talking. Back to Damon Salvatore!" She points to the television.
I laugh. "You're ridiculous."
"What? He's hot!" She laughs.

Soon enough, it's 5:30 and I'm at work. I have a part time job here at the tastee freeze downtown. I'm waiting on a couple when the bell rings, announcing that someone has walked in.
