Your P.O.V:
We walked into the restaurant with an arrangement of food on a large table. I pulled out my earbud along with Luigi and paused the music. This seemed like a trap in how it was set up. The food looked super good, but as much as my stomach wanted to eat it, my gut said it looked too good to be true. I turned to Luigi who seemed to be having similar though with the confused look on his face.
We walked around, double checking the food for any dark moon bits scattered inside. But it all seemed covered.
My stomach howled along with Luigi's weather we liked it or not.
We had to find safe food.
My mind started racing in negative directions although I knew we could survive days more, I started thinking irrationally.
I looked down at my hands as they were shaking. My heart was racing and my vision became blurry, all I could see was the food I couldn't eat as I fell into a black void of my own thoughts.
I had to stop before things got worse. I took a deep breath and distracted myself from the food by looking around the room until I could make out what I believed was the kitchen.
I walked to Luigi and tapped his shoulder. He looked down at me sweetly and confusedly. I pointed at the door behind me with my thumb. He gazed at the door, then back at me and nodded.
I let him walk in front of me so I can hide in case some ginormous ghost jump scares us. In this case I saw him kinda like a guard dog, although he looked nervous as well.
We where about a foot away from the door and we both pressed the flashlight buttons in case we do get greeted with some ungodly monster that sounds like a Jurassic park dinosaur mixed with the HTTP Windows XP greeting.
Luigi carefully opened the door and a burst of smoke unleashed into our faces. It was black like death and thick like fog.
I let go of the flashlight and used the vacuum instead to suck up all the smoke. But from the looks of it I was gonna need Luigi's help as well, but he was already two steps ahead of me and was partaking in this odd little game the ghosts were playing on us.
Once we could enter the room we stepped in and continued to suck the smoke until we could see.
When we did, we could make out a ghost chef who was cooking fish, then he added the purple dust from a container.
Then, he looked at Luigi.
His eyes could've practically set on fire the way he looked at him.
I heard Luigi sigh as his body shivered. The ghost lifted his arm with the frying pan in his grip. Luigi shouted
"Duck!"
And I followed his command, he too was low.
The frying pan hit the door, leaving a dent from such a hard throw. I grabbed the frying pan and figured; just in case I needed to pull off a Rapunzel move.
Luigi looked at me with a worried expression in his face.
I shyly put my hand on top of his.
My face was heating up.
I looked into his sapphire eyes and reassuringly nodded.
He nodded back.
No matter what costs, I will defend the Italian hero over my dead body.
I crawled to one side over to one side of the counter while he crawled to the other. I let go of the frying pan and grabbed my flashlight, holding the on button. I looked at Luigi. He raised three fingers, then two, then one.
We both flashed him but Luigi sucked him up because he was closer to him.
He fought and vertically beat the ghost however it bounced away just in time.
I pick up the frying pan in case I need to defend myself from other pans it throws.
I look around, my heart racing and my hands were shaking like there was no tomorrow. I saw the infected fish rise from the saucer and I knew the ghost was the one to put under fault for.
I felt my body naturally get into the good ol' baseball stance you would be in before you hit the ball so hard it would fly into space.
The fish came flying to me exactly where I wanted it to, where a baseball would be thrown.
All the pieces for a good hit were there, so I used all my arm power and smacked the crud out of an innocent fish with a frying pan. It was a big fish so it went flying straight to the wall where the ghost became visible from the shock of how fast I returned the throw.
Immediately; I dropped the pan and shocked him with the flashlight, stunning him with enough time for my next attack.
I sucked him up quite quickly, sliding left and right until it was time to vertically slam him into something.
When it was time to actually cause damage, I found the closest thing to hit him with was the stove which was still active.
After about five hits he flew out of my grasp. I quickly turned to shut off all of the stove fires so it's a safer environment for Luigi and I.
There was four active stoves and I decided to shut them off left to right as quick as possible
I was about to shut of the last one when I felt something on my back. It was Luigi's back against mine. I jerked my heads to see if I could see what was happening but nonetheless, I couldn't.
I quickly turned the stove off and turned to Luigi.
The ghost was towering above us with a frying pan.
