December 31st- 6:13 am. -
[Albert's House]

Albert 💫

I woke up to a vibration coming from my nightstand.
Quickly reaching over, I poked my head over my blanket to see: It was Jake.
I looked to the side, Kirsten was gone probably letting Peach and Rocky out since they weren't here either.
She usually likes to walk them in the morning, so I just let her have her time.
I swipe and answer Jakes call.

"Dude what? It's like 6 am." I groan.
"Wait a second." Said Jake.
I could hear him moving things around.
"Ugh, where is it?"
"Where's what?"
"You'll see."
"Jake I'm gonna go back to bed, I'll call you later-"
"No!" Jake freezes.
"It's important, I promise." He goes back to searching.

I roll my eyes and shove my face in my pillow ready to go back to sleep.
I stayed up so late playing Roblox with Kaden that I hadn't had the energy to really even move.

"Found it!" Jake shouted.
"Turn it to FaceTime."
I sigh, "fine."
"But this better be worth my loss of sleep."
He picks up the FaceTime and holds a piece of paper backwards in his hand.
"What?" I raise an eyebrow.
"Guess what it is." Said Jake.
"Uhh- OH!" My eyes widened, realizing what it was.
Plane tickets.

"Are you going on vacation?" I ask.
"Yeah but-" Just before Jake could finish, the door opens and Kirsten stands in the doorway holding Peach in one hand
and an envelop in the other while Rocky follows up slowly behind her.
"Oh! Is that Jake?" She asks as she tilts her head so she's able to see.
"Yeah, hi." Jake smiles and waves as he notices the envelope in her hand.
"Oh, Albert, this came in the mail for you." She hands it to me.
"Not sure who it's from but, they spelled your name weirdly." She adds.

I could hear Jake giggling.
I mumbled the spelling to myself.
A-L-B-I-T-C-H.
"Jake!" I laugh.
"Oh, now I get it." Kirsten smiles.
"Alright well I'm gonna go and feed the dogs." Kirsten says as she kisses me on the cheek.
"Cya babe." I said.
I opened the envelope with my phone propped up against my legs.
A plane ticket, to Texas, just like his.
My heart instantly warmed up, and my energy shockingly came back.
"Oh my god!" A huge smile came across my face.

"Jake no way." I stare at the ticket in pure happiness surrounded by disbelief.
"Yup, I'll text you the address to the hotel and everything." He said.
"Wow I- don't know what to say." I smiled so much it hurt.
"And guess who's coming along." Said Jake.
"Who?"
"Ethan, Elijah, Denis, Alex, Sub- poke couldn't make it, and Tofuu."
"So that makes 8 of us." He said.
"That's a lot of crackheads in one house." Kirsten says as she stands in the doorway.

"Hey, welcome back." I smile at her as she sits down next to me and lays her head on my shoulder.
"You should totally go, tell me how Texas is and maybe we'll move there." She jokes.
I chuckle.
"So are you down?" Jake asks.
"Yeah, when is it?"
"Tomorrow at 6:00 am is when your plane takes off."
"What! Oh god I need to pack!" I hung up on Jake and quickly hopped out of bed.

Kirsten giggles as I rush to grab clothes out of the closet.
"I'll go make you some stress-free breakfast." Kirsten says as she gets up and walks over to me.
I gave her a kiss and she walks out of the room.
I stand there for a minute then run over to the door to see if she's in the hallway.
I slowly close the door.

"Alright." I whisper to myself closing my eyes and focusing.
My clothes started to telepathically lift up along with my suitcase.
I open my eyes and smirk.
I easily folded my clothes at the same time just by standing there.
My suitcase opened and I sent the clothes into the suit case.
"Perfect!" I said aloud as I lifted up my laptop and headphones and sent them to my suitcase.
I looked around, nothing else to pack.

I mean, I might as well have some fun with it.
I then took sheets of printer paper one by one from out of the printer in my office.
They float over to my room and fly in a loop around me in control of my mind.
I made the closet door open and close, along with the bathroom door back and forth.
I then signaled for a water bottle on my night stand to come to my hand.
I catch it as it's flying towards me and drink some of it.
I let it go and levitate it along with the printer paper.
I laugh to myself.
Just like old times.
