There is hope

←THERE IS HOPE→

"I can't breathe,

And no one notices.

It's been like this for weeks,

And it's harder than it is.

Every day I fear of what's to come.

If my breathing will go uneven,

If I will go numb.

I hide in my room,

So I can escape reality.

I want to bloom,

But I can't find the key.

I check every door,

To maybe find my answer.

But I need more.

More strength,

And more hope.

But I can't seem to go the length,

I can't seem to say no.

No to the voices,

That's lurking in my head.

I can never seem to make the choice,

That I always dread.

I'm sorry to my people,

Who's wanting to help.

But there's this steep hill that's in the way.

A steep hill keeping them away,

No one can climb up, and I'm afraid.

And it seems like there is no way,

It feels like I'm about to fade.

I walk through life,

Hoping anxiety will just go away.

But then there's the knife,

And there is no way.

I'm stuck in this hole,

Temptation and the voices overwhelming.

And it's damaging my soul.

In the end, I do get better.

But it's just a cycle, isn't it?

I write every letter,

Maybe it will lift my spirit.

But there seems to be something else that helps me,

Not just breathing.

But a person, a person who can comfort me,

And they help me focus on reality.

And thank you,

To those who can help.

To stop the blue,

Because I've been stuck for too long.

And I needed to get out,

And finally, just finally I'm strong.

And there's no more doubt,

Finally, there is hope."
