I keep questioning myself,
Every action has an opposite reaction and I keep reacting like I'm meant to know the answers myself,
Reckless motives behind careless plosives I spit out my words like they're corrosive.
I want your attention, give me attention,
Let me feel some altitude, lure me in with that attitude.
I don't want to be easy but won't you throw me a line, hook and bait
I'll bite.
Looking the city light
Never felt more wrong or right,
Just waiting for the next day to go by,
On the countdown till we die.
I'll live.
Maybe help someone live a little more,
Maybe help someone give a little more,
Make it worth something, some day.
There's a ghost watching over my shoulder, I don't know if she likes what she sees, but she keeps me company, with my insomnia.
