I can't stop making mistakes,
It's like I take step forwards then slam on the brakes,
Like I build a tower just to knock it down,
When I make you smile you know I'll make you frown,
I'm a clown.
I get it, but I just wanna forget it,
Cus every sentence is a choke hold,
And every time I start to feel bold
I go and mess it up
I go and mess it up.
Wanted to make progress,
I had a dream with you in a beautiful dress,
Me and suit, tie, trilby and tall,
We had it all
But every time I start to feel the future
I go and mess it up,
Don't want to mess it up.
But I can't clean up my act if lil' ol Miles is in the way. I wanna him but I know he'll stay. Lil' ol Miles.

Passion,
Power,
Care,
Devotion,
Floating,
Falling,
Sinking,
Ocean.

I'm in deep - now.
Uncharted waters.
Can't ask for help,
No one will hear my yelp.
Doomed.
Hope? Nah.
Throw me a rope? Nah.
Gonna be fine? Nah.
Toss me a line? Nah.
"You're own kid," just you and Miles.
