It had to have been five seconds after the shot, security droids ran out. All Lana heard was open fire, she threw herself behind one of the pillars of the hallway next to Mando. The droids had no mercy shooting on them. Lana took a deep breath peeking her head out, she was about to put her blaster out when Mando grabbed her arm. "Follow." He states.

The two run down the hallway away from the shooting droids. "Mando what are we doing!" She says running after him. They took a couple turns inevitably leading them to the droids again, only this time they had the element of surprise on them.

Before Mando went down the hallway again he turned to Lana. "Watch my back, don't get hurt." Lana lets out a shaky breath nodding to him.

Lana watches as Mando walks to the middle of the hallway so nonchalantly behind the droids. She follows to his side pointing her blaster to the droid's backs. Mando flips his blade out before sprinting toward them, he slides on his side slicing the back of one's leg. Lana sprints behind him, hiding behind one of the pillars on the side of the hallway.

Mando leaps up kicking one of the droids in the torso sending it flying, as he does this, he shoots the droid next to it throwing it to the ground. Lana watches as a droid behind Mando shoots his beskar from the back. She tries to shoot but there's no clear shot at the droid. She watches in awe as Mando battles the droid. It throws him behind one of the pillars, she had no eyes on him anymore.

Lana tried lining up her sight on the blaster again at the other droids, her shaking hands pulled the trigger, but she missed. Two of the droids started toward her when one of them dropped with something sticking out of its eye. Mando was struck again in the beskar and landed at her feet. He threw his fist at the droids releasing the grappling hook catching one of them and pulling the other down with it.

Two more came out shooting at Mando who was on the ground. Grunting, Mando threw himself up to his knees letting his fists find their way toward the droids, this time not only a grappling hook flew from his wrist but an ongoing burst of flames. Mando struggled to defeat the last droid as he was shot again in the beskar. Lana found her strength to jump from her spot and shoot the droid in the head watching it fall at Mando's feet.

She sighed, she tried protecting Mando but she was overwhelmed. She thought she could've handled herself. "I'm sorry." She states over the droid at their feet. Mando steps over it and comes to her side. He doesn't say anything, he just brings one of his leather hands up and rubs her shoulder, his breath still heavy.

The trio starts walking toward them, expecting them to say something good to Mando, Mayfeld deceives her expectations. "Clean up your mess."

Running through the door to the control room, the group finds something they weren't expecting. A human. Everyone stops in their tracks when he turns around in his chair, wielding a blaster. "Stop!" He exclaims, "Stop, right there."

Lana can tell he's afraid. They weren't here to hurt him, he hasn't done anything but do his job. Lana drops her weapon back into its holster. His breath is heavy talking to them, "You put down the blasters right now." The group circles the young man.

"Nice shoes." Mayfeld says smirking. "Matches his belt." He jokes to them. The man is frantic moving every which way with his blaster. Lana sighed at the sight, they should just let the poor kid go.

"There were only supposed to be droids on this ship." Mando says, still aiming his blaster to him.

"Hang on, hang on. Let's see here. Uh..." Mayfeld draws out "Cell two-two-one." He examines to the control panels in front of him, locating the target. Just as Mayfeld turns around, the man throws up a white device from his belt.
