"Kaito-nii-chan, are you okay?"

"... To be honest, I need a fan in this fat suit."

"Aww... Is this better?"

"Yeah. Ah, ~ Co-chan is a good boy," Kaito praised, smiling at his sweet little younger brother who was fanning his face while hiding the fact that his efforts are near futile. His head is now feeling pretty cool (ignoring the fact that he had to wear a suffocating mask later on)

"Kaito! Am I doing it right?" Sonoko suddenly shouts, running the magic trick she had to perform later again for the nth time. Suzuki Sonoko, a child who was really born into a well-known family, whined for the magician's attention again.

Kaito groaned, apologising to Conan before moving to the insecure little heiress. Little cause she acts like a kid.

"Here's the thing, Ojou-chan," Kaito began. "You've perfected the art at trial number 10. It's an easy trick! There is nothing for me to correct anymore!"

"Urk!"

"Maa maa, don't worry too much about it, Kaito-kun. Sonoko's just being sceptical. It's normal for her to panic, didn't you already know?"

Kaito rolled his eyes and huffed in irritation. "She didn't need to call me over and over again to watch her practice the trick fifty-seven times! My patience has already burned in flames!"

Conan walks over to his brother, feeling the intense aura that was rolling off his being. "Nii-chan, Ichi-nii won't like it if you bully Sonoko-nee-san."

Kaito squatted to Conan's height and frowned. "This isn't bullying, it's expressing my opinions."

"What does 'expressing my opinions' mean?"

"It means to say something with all your heart about something," Kaito managed in a way his seven-year-old brother can hopefully understand. Conan pondered for a bit before asking.

"Can it be good or bad?"

"Of course. Opinions aren't meant to be hurtful. They are meant to be nice." Sonoko scoffed at Kaito, earning a look of disgust from the latter.

"Then nii-chan, can I express my opinion?"

Conan tilted his head adorably, reducing the three teenagers to mush inside. "O-of course, Co-chan!"

Conan pondered more before he opened his mouth to speak. His next lines had Sonoko doubled over in laughter while Ran held her back as much as possible.

"Nii-chan! I find both you and Ichi-nii not nice! Every time I ask you to delete those embarrassing pictures and videos Mama sent, you both don't want to, and I don't find that nice! And it's not like you've told Sonoko-nee-chan 58 times, I've been saying it all the time but you don't listen. I don't like it!"

Kaito froze. While it was common for Conan to run to their parents to complain about them, he hardly told his honest opinion about them. He can count how many times his only little brother hid his feelings for them. He's such a sweet boy.

The older Kudo bit his lip and hugged Conan wordlessly.

"Is that an opinion, Kai-nii?" The little boy asked.

"Yes, yes it is."

The girls watched the brothers interact silently, mentally cooing at them.

"Then what does someone do after hearing the opinion?"

"If it's something bad, some people choose to turn a deaf ear to it. If it's good, people will thank you for it. But if it's an honest opinion that is helpful, people should accept it, learn from it and then move on."

"... I don't get it, Kai-nii."

(Cue laughter)

"Haha... You'll know that when you're a little bit older."

A/N: It ends up becoming a fluff. I hope you like it! Right, this scene is a BTS of the part when Sonoko showed Ran that Rope-and-ring trick. If it is truly done the way Sonoko did, then Conan is right to say that the trick is easy. My question is, how the heck did Ran not notice her friend's weight in her palm? Clearly, their hands must have touched or something.
