"Hello My name is Spencer Reid with the FBI and this is Arabella." Reid says to the manager of the Patriot super market. I read the managers name tag, Hi My Name is DAN, it reads. "We need a list of all of your employees." he says
"Yes of course I will be right back." Dan says a bit uncomfortable and scurries out. I turn and look at the rest of the super market
"Did they check the cameras?" I ask
"Yes that was the first thing they checked." Reid replies.
"Did they see him?"
"No the cameras don't work to well they're old and skip a lot." he replies. I roll my eyes he forgets who I am.
"Dan can you bring me the tapes from your outside cameras?"
"Yeah sure." he calls. "they're not to good though!" He says before he hurries back. "Wait how did you know my name!?" He says way to excited "Did you read my mind?!" I give him a weird look
"There's a name tag... on your shirt." I say and point to his shirt and I can hear Reid suppress a laugh and Dan just shrugs his shoulders. "The tapes?" I ask and he sets them in my hands and he points me to the tv. Reid stays behind and talks to the manager, as I walk over I put my other hand on top of them and close my eyes. With that I'm inside of the tape and I can see where it's ripped and the video has gone back, I quickly fix it and shove it into the VCR. I watch it intently for s few seconds until I see the girl with her mom and younger brother. That's when a tan can pulls up and she starts to walk away someone gets out but it's to far out of the shot to see damn. "Well he's to far out of the shot but I can see the van, it's enough to get a number on the license plate." that's when Reid hurries over and I relay the numbers to him "QH215FRS"
"Well Dan says that mr. Hanks has been showing up to work late and looks tired and messy all the time." he says back
"Well then I think we are done here.Thank you Dan." I say and give him back to tapes.
"Hey um this is a weird question," he starts off with " but can I touch your wings." um what? I look at Reid and give him an are you serious look, this dude Is like 30!
"Um yeah sure." I say and tilt them towards him. He reaches out and touches them and looks astonished "Alright well it was nice meeting you." I say and hurry out quickly, man humans are weird.
