The living room was huge, the ceiling was very tall, it had big windows almost covering all the walls but they it was hard to see outside mostly bc it was dark and the windows were blurry like those windows they have in churches.
I walked around some more exploring
"Adley" I jumped as he walked in the kitchen looking for me, he chuckled and shook his head I glared at him
"I found the rooms, let's rest, you can explore some more tomorrow" he motioned for me to follow him, I followed him up the stairs leaving my shoes by the front door.
"This one should be yours and mine is right over there, I placed your bag on the bed, I'll be bringing some stuff in from the car so if you need me I'll be out there" he spoke, I nodded but before he left I stopped him, his eyes met mine with a frown
"Thank you" I mumbled, he smiled and wrapped his arms around me, surprisingly I didn't push him away but let him hug me as I hugged back engulfing his nice scent.
I felt safe.
"I'll always be here, you know that" he smiled before pulling back and walking down the hall and to the stairs before his head or curls disappeared. I sighed and turned the crystal knob and walking in
I took a deep breath at the sight before me, the room was big as expected. Bed was big, the closet was big, the bathroom was big, everything. I sat on my new bed holding my phone in my hands as I scrolled through the pictures of dad I had there, the last messages he sent me as I cried wanting to hug him so hard and cry in his arms.
The pain I felt in my heart making me want to scream and kill myself. He's the only family I had left, the only one who cared for me, my best friend.
And I didn't get to say goodbye, I didn't get to say I love you one last time.
I breathed in and out calming myself down as I stood up and unpacked the bag filled with money.
I headed to the closet and there laid a note
Place the cash under the bathroom sink, there's an open space there, then close the open space with the piece of wood next to it, it should fit in perfectly.
I headed to the bathroom sink and I checked under, there was an empty space there, big enough for me to fit there actually so I grabbed the duffle bag and took out the smaller bag with our passports and all that and placed the bag in there with just the money inside. I secured everything and placed the piece of wood on it and it fit perfectly, doesn't even look like there's and underground secret box that has 50K in there. I then again went back in the closet that had clothes already in it, it was a walk in closet with every little space already filled with clothes and shoes.
I smiled at my dads thoughtfulness.
I showered and put some pjs on I found, by now it was atleast 1am as I walked downstairs to look for Harry
He was in the kitchen reading some stuff
"Hey" he looked up at me as a smile came up
"You hungry?" He asked, I nodded
"A little" I sat down on one of the chairs
"I'm baking some chocolate chip cookies" he spoke pointing to the oven before running to it to turn it off
I laughed knowing he probably burned them
"They're not burned thank god" he took em out and placed them in front of me
I got up and looked inside the fridge, it was empty with only a gallon of milk
"Yeah I used the last bit of things that were in there for these cookies, we'll go shopping tomorrow, I need to take a look around a bit to make sure it safe for you" he spoke, i nodded as I served myself some
milk and sat back down
He took out a lighter and a blunt out of no where and started smoking
"Where did u get that from?" I asked as he handed it to me, I took a hit and left my body relax
"I just keep it with me" he shrugged as he grabbed a cookie and dipped it in the milk.
So we sat there eating cookies dipped in milk.
