CHAPTER 2

(Y/N's POV)

After a nice dinner and conversation with your brother, you headed out for a walk. You had been surprised that he hadn't mentioned anything about his work, It was strange but you had always enjoyed listening to his idea's even if you didn't show that you did. The air was crisp and felt wonderful on your skin, you let out a long sigh, with everything that had happened to you it was nice to have a quiet moment. Silent tears fell as you thought of the things that had happened, you never cried if you could help it and when you did it was only in private. Everyone thought you were so strong but in reality, what you were actually doing was blocking it all out and putting on a good face. When you finally looked up you realized you didn't know where you were, you started to panic.

'' Gah, why am I so stupid?'' you said out loud.

'' If I wasn't so distracted I wouldn't be in this mess. Why do I do this to myself?'' You cursed.

You looked around trying to pick out the general direction you had come, eventually, you chose a direction and started to walk back only to realize that you were completely lost. A storm started to form overhead and you knew you needed to get out of the forest soon. So you ran, as straight in one direction as you could you though you had to no idea where you were. You ran faster as the storm started to pick up, tree branches and ferns whipped at your legs and arms leaving small cuts and bruises. You tripped. You fell so fast you didn't have time to catch yourself, your head hit a rock and you fell unconscious.

(Ronin's POV)

'' Weres Nod?'' I asked

'' Probably talking with MK.'' Finn stated.

''Well, then I guess you're with me Finn, I need to do a patrol after that storm and make sure everything is as it should be.''

Finn nods in response. We head down to get our saddles and supplies.

''How are you holding up?'' Finn asks.

''It's hard but it's hard for everyone.''

Finn took that as his cue to not continue the subject and the rest of the walk was silent. We headed out, I had a feeling that something was off. Everything looked the same but at the same time, I knew there was something I was missing. We entered a clearing and that's when I saw it there was a still form lying on the ground. We quickly landed, the form groaned and I could tell she was hurt as I approached her I could see blood. She had numerous cuts and bruises on her legs and she was bleeding from her left temple.

''Finn!'' I called

'' She's injured.''

I picked her up bridal style, aside from the blood slightly matting her perfect (H/L)(H/C) she was beautiful and I suddenly had a strong desire to see that she got well.

'' She's not going to magically heal the more and harder you stare at her,'' Finn noted with a chuckle

His comment gets my attention and I feel my face get slightly warm, I walk over to the birds, I hand the woman to Finn as I climb on the bird and then he hands her back to me.

''We have to get her to MoonHaven as fast as we can, but must be careful not to unsettle her,'' I comment.

Finn grins at me and I roll my eyes at him.

You were put in a bed in the Healing wing, and your wounds were taken care of.

''Why would the queen shrink her to bring her here?'' I wonder

'' I guess I will find that out when she wakes up.''

A/N: WHOO HOO chapter two fineeshed. I know it's not much but I hope you like it so far. Also, I will update as much as I can but no guarantees it will be a regular occurrence but I will try.
