Graduation Day

Marco's POV

I woke up and saw Star's hands around my waist and her head resting against my chest. She looked so adorable with her soft snores. I started dozing off and going to sleep again ............."Marco, Marco get up"Star said shaking me slightly. I opened my eyes slowly and looked up at Star "Morning sleepy head" she said looking excited "Morning Star " I said sleepy "You look excited" I asked smiling "Of course I am it's graduation day, go get ready and meet me downstairs

Once I was done I went downstairs and Star grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door.

STAR POV

While we were walking Marco looked like it was nothing to graduate and he didn't look all excited. "Marco you don't seem excited about us graduating it's like it's just another school day" I said and looked at him "did you forget I'm a vampire and I graduated like twenty times already" I finally realised he was a vampire again and I replied with a "oh yah" and I suddenly hear my phone buzz. I took out my phone and saw a texted message from my mom saying

Mom: sweetie, were coming back today and we might make it to Marco and your graduation.

"Marco my parents are coming back today and there might come to our graduation" he nodded and we continued our way to school. Were got ready and waited for everyone to get done. It took almost an hour before I went after Marco and got my certificate and my other stuff ( I don't know what else their get since I didn't graduate yet soooo ) while I got them I saw my parents sitting waving at me with huge smiles, I just smiled back and took a seat next to Marco. Once everything was over Marco and I went to my parents who gave us a big hug and went to the car . "Shall we tell them or what" Marco whispered in my ear I nodded and waited for the right opportunity. When we reached home I told them to take a seat so I could explain it to them . I stood next to Marco and told them everything that happened the last few days ago. "Oh and I forgot to tell you that I'm engaged to Marco, hehe" I said shyly and scared of there reaction, they both looked shocked. I closed my eyes and waited for what was going to happen "congratulations" my parents said smiling and hugging us. I was surprised and hugged back. " So let me get this straight, Marco is a vampire that saved your life and you are engaged to him and all of this happened in a week while we were gone " I nodded slowly and held Marco's arms who was surprised they didn't faint or something. My dad looked at Marco and said " thank you for protecting my daughter" before my mom and dad went to their rooms, we followed and went to our rooms . I tried sleeping but I couldn't, I sneaked out of my room and went to Marco's room. I opened the door slowly and I heard " you can't sleep to huh" he said smiling. He patted on the bed next to where he was sleeping and I went to go sleep with him. I cuddled up and layed on his chest. I felt safe with him by my side he kissed my forehead and said "night " before I dozed off and fell asleep..........

Marco's POV

I kissed Star's forehead and saw how she dozed off to sleep. I looked at how peacefully she slept and suddenly I saw her hand leave my wrist and it went to her left thigh and when I saw her hand I saw a huge bruise on where she was holding it. She must of gotten it from Jackie and it was giving her alot of pain. It looked really bad and it was all because of me , if I hadn't interfered in her life she who'd of been fine, I am a threat to her she is not safe with me around her . I got up slowly so that I don't wake Star up and left a note on her side table and with that I left.
