Bella

As soon as I let out my last breath, holding my husband's hand as he died next to me, a bright light flashed in front of my eyes and I knew we had both died. My weddings ring was taken off my finger and is on a chain around my neck so I can hold onto that life as I enter and go through this one.

Once I was able to breathe again, I slowly opened my eyes and looked around my strange new bedroom. It was the room in the attic, and the walls were a pale blue. I got up and looked in a mirror to see what I looked like this time. I was close to what I looked like in my world, but a few things were different.
"Come on, sis. You're going to be late for your train." My brother said as he walked in. "Hurry up and get dressed, your train leaves in 30 minutes and we got to get you there soon." He said before he left.
Train? Maybe Narnia? No... I'll see soon. I thought as I found the clothes that I laid out for myself probably last night and got dressed.

"Be safe, Pumpkin Spice." My older brother, Connor, apparently, said as he hugged me before I got on the train.
"Don't worry, I'll be back for Christmas, just let me get settled in first you dork." I laughed as the last call for Central City was called. "Love you!" I called over my shoulder as I slipped through the doors of the train.

Once I got to my apartment, I sat on the couch for about five minutes before I got up and walked outside to hop on my motorcycle to the CCPD, where I'll start work in the morning as the newest crime scene photographer.
"Hello, Captain Singh? I'm Bella Raine, the new photographer?" I introduced myself as I walked into his office.
"Welcome, you will be sharing an office space with Mr. Allen, upstairs to the left." He said as I nodded and backed out before heading upstairs to check out the space.
I'm in the TV show, The Flash. I thought as I arrived at the door. I knock and see three people gathered around a table.
"Oh, hey. You must be Raine-... your a girl." A man with short, spiky brown hair and green eyes said.
"Yes, I am. My name is Rosabella Raine, but you can call me Bella or whatever, I answer to most things." I held out my hand as the girl next to him nudged his shoulder.
"I'm Barry Allen, it's nice to meet you. Sorry, they just told me you were a guy." He apologized.
"Don't worry, I get that a lot." I smiled as I shook his hand.
"Hey, I'm Iris." The girl next to him said waving at me.
"I'm detective Joe West. Welcome to the precinct." The man next to her said.
"Thank you. It's nice to meet you all." I smiled as Barry looked at his watch.
"Hey, do you want to come with us to see the Partical Accelerator turn on?" Iris asked as Barry's shoulders slumped.
"Nah, I'm good, but thanks anyway. I promised my brother that I'd call when I got here and it's already been about an hour. How about coffee tomorrow?" I offered as she nodded and she dragged Barry out with her. Gosh, he's hotter in person.
"Are they dating?" I asked eventhough I already knew.
"No, but he's had a crush on her since they were kids." Joe said.
"I figured as much. His feelings are completely obvious, just not to her." I said as he laughed.
"And you just met them, maybe you should become a detective." He chuckled.
"Nah, I'm good. Thanks Joe." I said as he walked out. I sat at my new desk and got it organized before I decided to call Connor.
Connor is bold and I'm italics

You're a prick, I hope you know that.

Oh, don't worry, I know. I'm fine, Con.

So, how's the town? Have you seen the precinct yet?

The town is as beautiful as the last time I was here, and the precinct is as big as dad said it was.

He would be so proud that you're there.

Try not to make me cry, Con. I see his picture everywhere in here. They really loved him.

He always said they were like a second family to him.

Yeah.

So, have you met anyone yet?

If I say yes, will you stop trying to set me up with your best friend's younger brother?

He's a good kid.

He's 18.

And?

I'm 22. It's not going to happen. And anyway, he's a total prick to anyone who doesn't have a lot of money. He's a snobby rich kid who can shove it.

Easy girl, he's not that bad.

Yes, he is. Anyway I did meet someone. His name is Barry, kinda nerd cute.

Just your type.

Hardy har har, very funny. Oh, someone's coming, I got to go. Love you.

Love you too, sis. Be safe.

Aren't I always?

Should I answer that?

No, love you, bye!

Bye.

He said before I hung up the phone to see Barry walking in with a bloody nose.
"Are you ok?" I jumped up.
"Yeah, I got hit with a laptop bag by a thief." He said as I cringed.
"Ouch." I said as it started to pour and Barry turned on the TV.
"Something went wrong with the Partical Accelerator-!" The news lady said before the TV went black and an explosion lit up the rainy, night sky. I went to pull on the chain to shut the sky light, and Barry helped me, until the liquids in the room started to levitate. We hesitated until a bright lightning bolt dropped from the sky and hit us, blowing us back into the cabinet, and everything went black.
