Am I truly at peace,
as I watch on wordlessly?
This unease in my bones disagrees.
But it's not my position to say otherwise.
How I have longed to stand up
and scream at the top of my lungs;

"Don't put words in my mouth.
It doesn't feel right
when sentences sit on my tongue
templated, designed,
by those that think
they are entitled to this right.
Think again.
Watch your words.
Before you force them down my throat."

But here I observe silently.
And watch
and watch
for days upon days.
Watching, waiting.
Biding my time for you.
