Operation 13: Hunting the Dragon

Itami: "Okay, okay I'll ask you! Rory, will you come with us?"

Rory: "Fine, but it'll cost you."

Y/N: "I don't think there's anything we can give you." She looked around before her eyes landing on me. She licks her lip.

Rory: "I've got something in mind. Come here for a second."

Y/N: "Sure...?" I slowly walk toward her and stop in front of her.

Y/N: "And?"

Rory: "Stand still."

Y/N: "Huh? Why should- AHHHH!" She suddenly bit my arm.

Y/N: "You bit me?! What's next? I have part of your power? Or maybe become an apostle?"

Rory: "*Lick blood* No. We're just signing our contract. Now, if you died on me, your soul will eternally be mine."

Y/N/Tanya: "What?"

Rory: "Oh Yaginada, add another person to the menu."

Lelei: "Make that seven."

Itami: "You too Lelei?!"

Lelei: "To increase your chances of survival you'll need some magic."

Yao showed up and bow before...me.

Yao: "Henceforth, my fight and my body are forever yours. Just tell me what it is you need."

Y/N: "Just...get up."

Yanagida: "So that brings the total to eight, yes?"

Itami then begins loading supplies to the vehicles as Y/N sitting on top of the Battle Fortress and bandaging his arm. Once both tasks are done Guardian G.I. showed up.

Y/N: "Ready, soldiers?"

Guardian GI: "Solid as rock, sir!"

Y/N: "Let's get in!" We started to board the Battle Fortress with Itami is the last person to enter.

Y/N: "Come on! We have to hurry, Sergeant Itami Youji."

Itami: "Sergeant? But I'm-"

Y/N: "Yeah, I forgot to tell you that I demote you."

Itami: "What?!"

Y/N: "Eva?"

Eva: "Here, General."

Y/N: "Ready the Chronosphere."

Eva: "Yes sir." A blue light surrounds us but it suddenly disappears a few seconds later.

Y/N: "What happened?"

Eva: "I don't know sir. We just lost a connection with the Chronosphere."

Y/N: "Damn it! Change of plans. Eva, send someone to investigate, we'll drive there."

Eva: "Yes, sir."

Y/N: "All unit, move out!"

Battle Fortresses: "CHARGE!!"

3RD POV.

As the Battle Fortresses move out, a group of SEALs was sent to investigate the Chronosphere.

SEAL1 (radio): "Lieutenant Commander."

Eva (radio): "I'm here, what happened to Chronosphere."

SEAL1 (radio): "They're dead, sir."

Eva (radio): "Dead? Who's dead?

SEAL1 (radio): "Everyone, ma'am." In front of them was dozen of dead bodies and guns with silencer scattered around. It's like they were shooting at each other.

Then they heard static noise coming from somewhere near them.

SEAL1 (radio): "Ma'am, we heard static noise somewhere, moving to investigate."

EVA POV.

Eva: 'How is this even possible? A whole team died without anyone knowing? Walk past the security team- No, walk past the whole army. Got behind the enemy's line and disabled their weapons.'

SEAL1 (radio): "Ma'am, we found the source. It's from a radio. We're gonna investigate that."

Eva: "A radio?" My eyes widen in realization.

Eva: "Soldiers don't!" I was too late.

A sound of gunfire coming from my radio.

SEAL 2 (radio): "He's gone mad! He's killing us all! Need rein-" He got cut off by more sound of gunfire followed by an explosion everywhere.

-Somewhere else-

A silhouette of a man sitting in the middle of the darkroom. He puts his weird phone down on the table nearby as the light goes on, showing his face and the machine behind him.

Yuri: "This...is just a beginning, General."
