Snow Globe
I spin round and round,
frozen crystals falling around me.
They hit the hard ground
and do not melt.
Just when they music is about to stop
it starts back up again,
the snow spinning faster.
I spin round and round
in frozen isolation,
the glass igloo keeping me captive.
I keep spinning,
and just when I'm about to stop,
when I think it is finally over,
it starts again, faster.
There I spin
to the rhythmic tune,
that after some time
begins to sound like a scream.
If only I was not the only one that heard it…
