Chemistry

I had the same lab partner

for three whole years.

He hardly talked to me

and ignored all of our peers.

I never thought he payed attention,

especially not me,

as he drew in his notebook

drawing things he never let anyone see.

I was never one to get in other's business,

so I tended to let him be,

but who knew that after all these years

he had actually been drawing me…
