I Think…

I think a lot

about very different things.

I think about

the tigers in cages

at the circus,

and the lyrics to songs

and why normal people's lives

aren't that happy.

I think about trees

and how they got so tall,

and I think about the words in books

and how they got so many letters

on all those pages.

I think about socks

and why I never seem

to have th other half

of the pair,

and I think about people

and why they're so fake.

And most of all,

I wonder

what normal people

think about.
