A hooded figure run out the palace doors. A shriek came from a woman. "Guards, Guards. That thief stole my jewels. Over there, quick before he gets away. "She pointed at the cloaked person running to the gates. All the guards started chasing the black figure. The cloaked thief turned his head back and smiled with amusement. The chase has begun.

The thief turns the corner and runs into the village. More guards come from all corners and chase him into a crowd. The cloaked person dives under a table and into a bar. He runs in the door and quickly slams it shut, locking it with a panel of wood. He turns around to see guards turn their head and stare at him. He stands still, staring back at the guards until he hears banging on the door. "Get him!" One of the guards shouts. All the guards abruptly stood up and then chase the him as he bolts up the stairs just as the door burst open.

The cloaked person grabs on the railing and swings around the corner, running to the end of the hall. He runs into a room and looks around. He looks down below through the window. The stomping from the end of the hall becomes more profound and the thief runs to the door holding it with his back. The pushing on the door becomes stronger. He frantically looks around the room for a weapon until he sees the handle of a sword. The cloaked person dives for it just as the door swings open and hits the wall with a loud thud.

The thief rolls onto his back and the guards all bound into the room. One steps in and signals for the others to stop by putting his hand out to the side. He looks down at the thief laughing. "What are you going to do to me with that," he taunted, "give me a splinter." The thief looks down at his weapon and realizes that it's a wooden sword. He groans as he gets up. The guard pulls out his sword from his belt. He looks down at it then at the thief. "Now this is going to hurt you a lot more." He said as he put the tip of the sword to the cloaked person's throat.

The guard and thief circle each other, sword still to the thief's throat. They stop when the guards back is to the window. "No where to go now." The guard laughs. "You have no escape. Now why don't we pull down the hood and put a face on this thief." The cloaked person pulled his hood down farther over his face. "There's always an escape." A gruff voice came from underneath the hood. Suddenly he backs up and hits the wooden sword against the metal one. He uses such force that he knocks the weapon out of the guards hand and pushes him to the side. The other guards all grab the swords and runs toward the cloaked thief.

Guards surround the thief and one swings his sword barely hitting the thief's chest. Before the guard can swing again the thief kicks him in the chest knocking him back and ducks just in time as another guard swings a sword over his head. The thief swung his foot around knocking guards from their feet. He looks out the window at an approaching carriage, when he is stopped by a sword in his face. He hits it out the guards hand and moves to the left as another guard runs into the wall, making his sword get stuck. A fifth guard manages to break the wooden sword and all the remains is the handle. As he goes to stab the thief the other guard pulls his sword from the wall, causing him stumble backwards and into the guard trying to stab the thief.

The thief runs to the window and opens it. He watches the carriage get closer and starts to climb out the window. He quickly glances back at his work and smiles at the jumbled guards. He sees a few get up and run over to the window. Just as the guards reach the thief he falls and rolls onto the top of the carriage. They watch as the cloaked person jumps from the carriage roof to one of the horses scrambling to unlatch the horse from the carriage. One guard signals them to follow the thief and they all rush out of the room to the stairs.
