Speechless - Naomi Scott

     My alarm set of ringing loudly "Morning already" I murmur and get up yawning. I head straight for the bathroom and stand in front of the mirror facing my reflection for a second before grabbing my toothbrush and some paste, I got ready for school and want to prepare breakfast for myself, this are things I had to learn as I lived alone. After a quick breakfast I  left for school, I headed for my locker to get the books am gonna use for the day "Jason dear" a voice called pretty sure it's Julie's

"Not again" i murmured and slammed my locker to get a better of her "what" I asked emotionless

"Good morning, how was your night" she asked as she grabbed my hand

"Excuse me" I said removing her hands from mine as I walked away, This is not what I want this morning

"Jason" she called after me

"Leave me alone" I shot at her, people turned to our direction that's what she likes..attention..., I walked away to my class leaving her standing there. I entered my class and walked to my seat, last on the third row, I brought out the books am gonna use and dropped it on my desk before sighting the girl I saw yesterday, she is really beautiful "pretty right" Eric said beside me, I turn towards him
"Like I care" I said plainly.
       Eric is a really a good guy, a close pal since junior high or will I say only pal, he knows everything there is to know about me, and he is really okay with how I am, not many people can actually condone me, i did sacrifice anything for him.
         The day went fast, all the students headed to the theatre for the last lesson of the day, I couldn't get my eyes of the girl from yesterday, and anytime she turns to my direction I will turn away, I don't know why, she sat not so far from me in the theatre
"Okay students" the teacher began "we are gonna start by instrumental usage,  Ok....." the teacher said looking over the faces "You" he pointing at a guy "You are going to play an instrument for us any one of your choice" the guy stood up and walked towards the instruments after a while of thinking he finally picked the guitar and play a little note. The class applauds him as he returns to his seat
The class ended quickly with everyone rushing into the hallway to return their books and go home, I drop my books in my locker and slam it, no need for me to rush not like someone will be waiting for me at home, thought of it pains me
"Later dude" Eric said as he taps me on my shoulder and runs of
"Yeah" I shout after him, he raise his hand indicating that he heard me, he has younger one that he got to pick from their school.
     I leave the school, getting into my car, drving around i leave the school parking ground and drving at normal speed to the park, I was not in a hurry to get back home and i did like to catch the sunset, I walk into the park, it was mostly empty by this time of the day, then i heard the most beautiful voice ever sing so beautifully

But i wont cry
I won't start to crumble
When ever they try to shut me or cut me down

I came to a halt rooted to the ground, the same girl from school stood by the rail watching over the lake, singing, i stood there unsure of what to do not sure wheater to go back or still move towards the rail, I look up as we share an eye contacts as she walks towards me, why is she coming toward me, I swallow a pump that had formed in my throat, trying to keep a straight face, she just passed me like nothing happened, well nothing did actually, I turn back staring at her till she is out of sight, "shit" I murmured biting my lower lip, what was that just now I scolded myself and turn to face the sunset over the lake, just a tiny bit of it remained.....at least I saw it. I left for home and had a quick shower and put on my pyjamas and after a quick dinner after with I watch tv, but actually my mind was not on the tv, I was thinking of the girl from school and the park, what was she even doing there, people hardly knew that spot, that was the spot......I shake my head getting the thought off my head....how does she know that spot, and why am I nervous around her, "Jason what the fuck is wrong with you, you are never shy or nervous around girls so what's the big deal with this one" I said scolding myself.
