After grabbing my comforter off my bed and wrapping it around myself I walked out of my room and into the kitchen. Raven was standing behind the counter cooking our breakfast.

“How would you like your eggs?” she asked.

“Sunny side up please!” I said with a smile.

“Still thinking about last night?” she said with a smirk.

“No…” I lied, my face betraying me yet again.

“Whatever you say Bella!”

“I’ll be right back, gotta use the little girls room,” I said, setting my phone down and spinning the chair around to leave.

I sauntered off to the bathroom and shut the door behind me. As soon as I knew it was safe I looked at myself in the mirror and giggled. I didn’t want Raven to know how much I liked Josh because it would only further her curiosity about him, but I couldn’t help but be happy! The thought of him made me smile and there was no stopping it! As I was about to leave I heard my phone go off but I forgot where I had put it. I quickly remembered when I opened the door and heard Raven yell,

“Oh Bella, I think it’s your man!”

I sprinted out of the bathroom just in time to see her reaching for my phone. I lunged toward her and snatched it out of her hand just before she could hit the home button and see who it was that texted me.

“Raven! What did I say about wanting to keep my personal life private!” I shouted.

“Sorry Bella, I just wanted to see who it was…”

“That’s your problem Raven! You’re always butting into everyone’s business! Can you just stay out of things for once?” I yelled back, probably much louder than needed.

“I really am sorry Bella…” she said softly. “Here, breakfast is ready.”

“I’m not hungry anymore…” I said, walking off to my room and shutting the door a little too hard.

I didn’t mean to yell at her like that, but I just wanted her to leave things alone. It was for her own good. I mean, if she found out she would be devastated, and I was just trying to be a good friend, right? I hope so…

I finally looked at the message I got and seen that it was just my mom. That didn’t mean I wasn’t still freaked about the whole ordeal. I knew that if I didn’t want Raven to find out, I would have to make a decision, and quick. I made up my mind and texted Josh.

“Hey, we need to talk…” –Bella.
