Its a sensitive thing.
I hear the whistle go. "FULL TIME- ITS A TIE BETWEEN WESTWOOD TIGERS AND ATHERTON LIONS."
Me, Abby and James sit in silence before I burst out laughing. "Well... this wasn't how we planned." I look at the two who just stare at me.
"W-what? It's k-kinda funny." They nudge me and stand up.
I feel abbys hand grabs mine and she begins pull me towards the open area at the end of the bleachers, i smile nervously at abby before she pushes me forward.
I see Luke and laugh softly as he and tyler walk over.
"We tied." I smile. "You tied." He stares at me.
"A tie isn't a loss." I giggle. "A tie isn't a win." He smirks and moves closer.
"Hey can i do something?" I nod and before i can do anything his lips crash against mine.
Its like the whole world stops, just for us.
As if sparks and fireworks are surrounding us.
After a moment we pull away and smile at each other.
"I love you oscar." My eyes widen. I feel my lip tremble slightly as i smile. "I love y-you too lu-Luke." He grins and kisses me again.
Before we pull away we hear screams, and soon figure out why.
Our hips are glowing.
"JAMES GRAB YOUR PHONE."
We look down, to see matching phoenix scars.
I freeze, as if im paralized. The scar is a heart, half red and half navy blue, the red part is made to look like the devil and the blue an angel.
Its perfect.
"Oscar?" I look at luke, then look at everyone looking at us. I look back down at the phoenix scar and then at lukes.
And then it hits me.
Luke daniels is my phoenix mate.
I feel tears begin to form. His eyes widen slightly. "Happy tears?" I nod quickly causing him to grin and pull me into another long yet sweet kiss.
Cheers fill the the crowd around us but all i can think about now is how somebody finally loves me.
After pulling away due to lack of oxygen, it then hits me.
Everyone is looking at me.
"Oh..." i hide my face in his chest causing him to laugh and hold my hand.
"I knew you was my soulmate oscar, and I couldn't be happier." I giggle and nod. "M-me too."
For the first time in my life, i feel as if my future might just be alright.
