Lana's POV
So today is the day i go to the doctor to get checked out. Man i hope it's nothing serious or bad. I quickly get dressed and head downstairs to wait for river. He took today off to be with me and go to the hospital with me to get checked out.
"Wanna grab some food?" He asks
"Yeah, let's grab some breakfast which i won't eat right now because i feel like shit" i say shaking my head
We pull in the drive thru of McDonald's and order our breakfast i get a coffee and spit it out.
"What's wrong baby?" River asks
"This coffee tastes like ass" i say
"Let me try it" he says sipping it
"So?" I ask
"Tastes fine to me honey, want me to get you a tea?" He asks
"Yes please" i say smiling
He runs in and grabs me a tea i sip it slowly and it doesn't do what the coffee did.
"I wonder why it did that?" I ask
"Don't know babygirl" he says smiling
We arrive at the hospital and check in. After checking in we head to my room for the day.
"Good afternoon miss love, how are you feeling today?" Dr calum asks
"Like shit excuse my language but my head is killing me, so is my stomach, my coffee tasted werid this morning, i feel pukey." I say
"Ah, sounds like the first signs of pregnancy" he says smiling
"What?" I ask
"Don't freak miss love, we will do some tests and go from there yeah?" He asks
I nod and a nurse comes in and takes my blood, urine sample, they do a CT scan on my head&stomach and we wait for the results.
"Ughhh i hate waiting I'm so nervous!" I say
"Baby, i promise it's gonna be okay" river says smiling
The doctor returns and his face looks bright. I smile
"Am i okay doctor?" I ask
"Your blood work came back clean, your CT scan of your head is good, your stomach? Your pregnant with twin girls congratulations lana" he says smiling
I smile widely "I'm gonna be a momma of twin girls?" I ask
"Yes you are and i wanna see you back here next month so we can go over everything else" he says smiling
"Okay thanks doctor" i say smiling
"Your pregnant baby!" River beams
I smile "i know I'm so excited"
We get back in the car i eat my breakfast and drink my tea. We soon head home and tell everyone the good news. They are over the moon happy about it and we get congratulations from them all. I head upstairs to take a nap and river plays on the PS4 while i sleep.
