20 - I'm a bad bitch

It felt like time sped up a million times fast, but it also felt like it slowed down, and my heart beating was the only thing I heard.

Wiping my hands quickly on my pants, I close one eye aiming it for that guy and close both eyes before shooting. I didn't watch where it went. I just aimed somewhere at the guy on the side who was going to shoot Jackson.

"Fuck fuck fuck, we gotta go." Jackson shouts telling everyone to pack it up. I hear Mateo mutter some curse words loudly. "I better have my money by tomorrow or I'm putting a bullet through your brain." Jackson growls out.

"Babydoll, I could fucking kiss you right now." He says helping me up. I was sweaty, and crying, and my hair was all over the place, and fuck I really did that.  I was freaking out and my heart was still pounding. When I opened my eyes I was being pulled up and everything was blurry.

"I didn't faint Jack, I didn't faint." I say breathlessly. Sounds like a really stupid thing to get excited about but I was beyond happy. We run back to his black Aston Martin hoping in and speeding off.

"Did I hit him? Did I kill him?!" I whisper holding my head in my hands.

"No babydoll, I don't how you managed to shoot him in the hand he had his gun in, I mean that's a small target and somehow you did that shit." He says calmly grabbing my hand.

"Oh my gosh I'm so happy, but I'm going to have nightmares Jackson." I groan ugh my emotions were everywhere. Especially still thinking of what Jackson said earlier.

We'll finish this later.

Like what?

"You know you just saved my life right." He says bringing my hand up to his mouth. He places a kiss on my knuckles letting our hands rest in my lap.

"You've saved mine like a million times, had to repay you." I joke staring at him drive. When people said men look good driving, I didn't think this good. One hand on the steering wheel, the other in my lap. The street light shone on his face and lit up his jawline perfectly.

I smile to myself looking out the front window. When we get back to his house, I run immediately to my dogs. I felt safe with my dogs, it may seem weird though. It seems like I haven't been with them much but, Jackson's hired someone to take them for walks when I was at school, it was nice because they could always be in his backyard unlike my apartment set up. But my mind kept replaying the gunshot sounds.

Back home, it wasn't uncommon to hear it, but still terrifying for a kid to hear. I got used to it, until my parents divorced and they got shared custody. I didn't like it really. Going from house to house on different days was really difficult and stressful. And before my dad remarried, it was only us two in the house when I was over. It felt lonely a little, but I spent every second with him when I was there.

My mom's house was basically the same until she got remarried and had my sisters but that was when I got way older and was already off in high school. He snaps me out of my thoughts and brings me back to reality.

"Did you really think I forgot about what I said earlier?" He comes in hanging his keys up along the many hung on the wall. I was hoping he didn't.

"How about some privacy?" He whispers looking into my eyes. This was the type of eye contact that made me nervous.

He picks me up by telling me to jump. Wrapping my legs around his waist he takes me upstairs to his room placing me against the wall. I held onto him for dear life, because if we fell down the stairs, I was not getting back up.

"Babydoll, I'm not good with words. But I do know what I want." He says making my second heart beat go off. If you know what I mean. I lick my lips staring into his eyes waiting for him. His eyes finally settle on my lips making me really nervous.

I wrap my arms around his neck standing on my tippy toes, wanting his lips on mine already. I bring his head down to my face finally kissing him. Jeez.. do you know how long I've been waiting. Keeping it cool around him was very difficult. The kiss was really slow at first but as his hands gripped my hips harder it got rough. I liked it though following his lead.

The sounds our lips made when we kissed turned me on even more and I really felt my legs going weak. I didn't mind that his hands drifted down to my ass gripping it. Until he squeezed it hard making me jump in surprise. He laughs, finally breaking the kiss. I was out of breath, smiling like an idiot. He didn't let go of me and we stayed like that for awhile. Him holding me and us swaying back and forth.

"I'm gonna go shower." I say nonstop smiling.

"Then come right back mamas," He demands taking his shirt off in front of me. That name and the gesture, made my second heartbeat go off again making my legs even weaker. Skipping to my room, I shower really thoroughly as always. My cheeks were starting to hurt from smiling so much.

Jumping out of the shower after like 45 minutes, damn I didn't mean to take that long, I change into some gray shorts that were really comfortable and a teal tank top. I was becoming more confident in my body which is making me happier. My momma always told me that of course I was a little bigger and that of course I was going to have a tummy, but I had weight in mostly the right places.

Skipping to his room down the hall, the door was already cracked open. I step inside getting pulled by him. He closes the door pulling me into bed. "Damn you're really something else Jackson. You could've dislocated my arm!" I say dramatically, then facing him. He pulls my leg over his thighs holding my thigh. I drape my arm across his chest snuggling into his shoulder.

Cue Peachy's Falling for you because I was kinda fucked. It's been like two weeks and you're already catching feelings? Like really?The voices in my head started going crazy.

I was going to go fucking crazy.
