The war is over, Hogwarts is finally rebuilt, and it's the start of a new school year. The previous seventh-year students have returned for their eighth an...
"So...when do you think you and Draco will get married?" She asks, changing the subject
"He hasn't proposed yet so I have no clue...before the end of next term obviously..." Hermione answers, at this time, Ron and Harry decide to sit down across from the pair
"Oi, Gin! Have you told Mum? She's gonna send you a Howler if she hears from someone else." Ron laughs at Ginny's panicked face
"I-I was planning on telling her tomorrow...In-person. I figured she would like that better than a lousy letter. Oh no! What if someone has already told her? Harry might not end up married if Mum finds out before I tell her." Ginny says, turning pale
"Ginny. I'm joking...no one is going to tell her before you do...I hope for Harry's sake." He laughs, looking at Harry who suddenly had a bit of a worried expression on his face
"You lot are too much...so Ron, how's Pansy?" Hermione asks, taking the attention off of Harry and Ginny for a moment so they can both calm down
"I've decided I'm gonna propose on Christmas! I'm mad for the girl. It's amazing what a month can do to you." He sighs, looking in the direction of the Slytherin Table where Pansy was no doubt sitting with Blaise and Draco
Of course, he's proposing on Christmas...
"No way! You haven't even told me that!" Harry says shocked, patting Ron on the back
"I had only just decided right before we left for dinner. I was gonna tell you lot at dinner." He smiles
They begin discussing wedding details and the engagement ring he bought for Pansy last week, explaining he had picked out a flashy ring with a Sapphire in the middle and on the sides, seeing as blue was her favourite colour.
He tells them he would show them the ring later tonight if he could get away from Pansy for a bit...they were just about always together these days.
"You know, Draco and I made a bet at the beginning of this that Ron and Pansy would be the last to get married, and then us...looks like I'm winning!" Hermione giggles
"Does anyone know anything about Blaise and Luna?" Ginny asks
"Drake said Blaise was proposing tonight before they left for holiday." Hermione tells the group
"Well...Draco better get on top of things 'Mione...looks like you'll be the last to get engaged unless Draco pops out a ring before Christmas." Ginny says, taking a bite of potatoes
"No. He won't do it before Christmas. I know him, he wouldn't do it while his mother was around."
They continue talking about their inevitable wedding bells and how interesting the break would be, especially with Hermione staying at the Malfoys for the duration of it
"I'm gonna head out. I've gotta finish packing..." Hermione sighs, getting up from the table and walking over to the Slytherin Table where Draco was sitting, talking quietly with his friends
"Hey, Draco. I'm done if you wanna head back with me...hi Blaise...Pansy. Good luck tonight Blaise!" She smiles at the Italian man
"You told her?! You twat. Bugger off...Thanks, Hermione." He tells her, slapping Draco's shoulder in the process as he gets up from the table
"We're using magic to finish packing. It's much faster." Draco says as they walk toward their room
"Fine. But if I forget anything...I'm blaming you." Hermione laughs
On their walk back to their room, Draco told Hermione about how Blaise planned on proposing to Luna and Hermione told Draco that Ron was planning on proposing to Pansy on Christmas
"You've got to be kidding me. We talked about how tacky that was on the way to dinner! Oh, that's amazing." He laughs
"Come on, Draco! I mean, you're right but maybe he thinks it's super romantic?" She tries to save him
"Maybe...but still, it doesn't save him from the tackiness of it all. Oh, the poor weasel." He laughs, earning him a slap on the arm from Hermione
"Oi. What was that for?!" He asks
"Don't call him weasel! Or I'll call you ferret." She tells him sternly
"Anything for you, Otter." He smiles

I think I've broke my writers block!!!!
This was surprisingly easy to write and I don't think it was that bad... I'm still working on my writing skills and I know they're not the greatest... But I enjoy it soooo
