𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐜𝐫𝐲

I cried tonight because I hurt.

because the voices in my head wouldn't leave me alone.

because my heart was heavy from sadness.

I cried because I needed to.

I needed to scream but I couldn't

because my sister is sleeping next door

I slept because it was all I could do to take that pain away

in the most painless way I know
