Within a house was a baby, beautiful and luminous.
"My angel, you are, let's go outside!"
And the winds blew against them, but they were strong...
...together.

-

The next day arrived. The baby still in her bed, had smiled softly at the window at the alluring sky. Her mother had fed her breakfast.

But the sky was bluer than its colours. It became dark with clouds and started raining.
"Oh my! It is raining! Lily, stay here."
The baby laughs, but when she was gone, she cried. Without her mother, she wouldn't feel safe...
...but she wouldn't feel safe now anyways...

Suddenly the ground was pulled away, and the baby fell. The rain stopped, the ground shook back to place. The mother, who witnessed everything cried.
"NOOOO!!!"

Her voice echoes throughout the valley.

A seed small and fragile had been planted...

...it was a lily.

And the world would change.

"I'm bored..." Liley sat on the couch watching tv.

"Don't say that! This is a happy world, not a sad one."

"Ok..."

Seemingly the world was silent. Nothing would happen. Everything was just the way it was supposed to be.

I look outside.

Nothing is there.

"Mother, is today a good time to go to the market?"

"No... This is when the leaders come to a meeting, it's not an acceptable time to go to the market."
She said every word with no emotion.

I didn't remember anything. How I was born, who my father was, and I wish I did. My mother said that my father went to tons of business trips. That was quite strange, as we were all taught that we were the only world there was. Going outside would be dangerous.

Was it? I always felt different. I spoke with feelings, I had reactions to messages. Others didn't seem to have such 'emotion', I didn't understand, they all remember their first years, unlike me.

Could this world all just be an illusion?

-

I just wanted to go outside. I felt like a flaw in the system. Why did everyone fit in? I looked out of the window. It was a clear sky and the sun was shining.

I felt something taking over me, it felt like an unstoppable force.

With a sudden urge, almost like I was forced to do it, I broke the window. I felt like I was possessed with an exciting emotion, freedom? I ran out to the clear blades of grass. Everything was beautiful, but I hit a wall. It didn't make sense. It looked like a road, but could it be a wall? A hidden force field. They knew such a perfect world would never exist. They knew someone like me would get out.

I tried not being seen and ran back.
I saw my mother...

"Oh my god! Mother!"

She didn't seem to be my mother though.

"Cₒₘₑ ₕₑᵣₑ, ₗᵢₗy! Cₒₘₑ ₕₑᵣₑ..." She had no emotion but said every word with happiness while trying to haunt me. She said Lily but I wasn't-

I was hit with a vision. I saw a beautiful woman.
"My angel, y-you a-a-are-"
And it all went away.

Everything didn't seem right. I saw a woman and I-

I was caught by my mother.

She went back to normal. "Why are you here Liley. Come back now!"

And we went back to the house.

-

"What the heck, mother, you were like, 'come back' so weird."

Was it my comment? She seemed to steam, her cheeks red, and her facial expression long.

With a sudden bang, my mother changed. "Yₒᵤ ₘᵤₛₜ dᵢₑ. Yₒᵤ wₑᵣₑ ₙₑᵥₑᵣ fᵢₜₜᵢₙg ₜₒ ₜₕᵢₛ wₒᵣld."

And I rushed out of the window.
