"I now pronounce you, husband and wife."

"You may now kiss the bride."

I slowly closed my eyes as I felt his soft lips touching mine.

I tear escape from my eye because of an unexplainable emotion sipped throughout my body.

It feels so true.

"What do you wanna eat, Hubby?"

He faced his phone and answered boringly.

"Anything."

"Where can I buy anything?"

He faced me.

"Wife."

"Okay okay."

I laughed because of his serious tone.

I am about to turn my back when his phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Who's that?—"

"Hush."

Naiwan sa ere ang aking sasabihin nang patahimikin ako nito at lumabas siya mula sa kusina.

"Crucian."

Habang nanonood sa sala ay nakita kong bumaba galing kuwarto ang aking asawa.

"Where are you going?"

I stood up to fix his polo but he choose to ignore me.

"Somewhere."

I raised my eyebrow.

"Seriously, Crucian?"

His expression softened.

"I'll just meet someone tonight, wife. I'll be back."

Nag-angat ako ng tingin at napapikit nang halikan niya ang aking noo.

My lips formed for a small smile.

I nodded at him.

I am about to get some chips for me in the grocery store when I heard a familiar voice.

Sinilip ko kung saan nanggagaling ang boses na iyon at bahagyang napatalon ang puso ko sa hindi malamang dahilan.

"H-Hubby."

Nagtago ako at hinayaan ko lang ang sarili ko na pagmasdan kung paano niya hawakan sa bewang ang babaeng kasama niya.

My heart instantly broke into pieces.

I smiled bitterly.

Damn, those smiles are so genuine.

Naalimpungatan ako sa tunog ng kumakaluskos na pinto.

I opened my eyes to see if who it is.
