Meg is here, friends. Be happy.
Today, I am going to list musicals that I like, along with notes, because I felt morally obligated to do something and, more importantly, because of the fact that I need more people to talk about these with. I will make a part two someday.
FIRST!
Spies Are Forever, which you can find on YouTube, filmed professionally and legally. This gets first place because I just finished rewatching it. It's written by three members of Team Starkid, which you might know for the Very Potter Trilogy. It features literally bucketloads of gay angst, but! In a good way. I mean, you'll still cry, but it's actually extremely good representation. And in case you haven't clued on yet, it's about spies.
Next, because I literally cannot stop listening to the soundtrack, & Juliet! This one really deserves to be popular. Yes, it's a jukebox musical, but not only does it have an incredible original song it, they also arranged everything beautifully and set the pop songs to a whole orchestra. It's so amazing. The premise is Anne Hathaway(Shakespeare's wife, not the celebrity) deciding the ending of Romeo and Juliet is dumb and changing it so that Juliet doesn't kill herself and instead decides to travel. Please listen to it.
Third, I'm gonna say Starship by Team Starkid, as I'm in the middle of rewatching it. Well, kind of. I just started. It's basically The Little Mermaid but in space and also instead of being a mermaid, the main character is a bug. It features puppets galore, the most adorable romance ever, and some of the most iconic songs by Starkid. *cough* Kick It Up A Notch *cough*
That's all because I gotta do something else, but part two will happen eventually because I really like musicals and there's way more that I'm a fan of.
